Weird mixed breeds

Recommended Posts

Don't get me wrong. I love mixed breeds, but sometimes things seem to... err... be of the more "unnatural" type...
I watched tv here about a year ago and this thing popped into my head while I was reading Kiger's post with the diffirent Shlabs etc. ()
Anyway... I saw this TV programme and there was a dog that was a mix between a (prepare yourself) LAB and a CHIHUAHUA!!! :o :o :o
And I SWEAR I'm NOT joking!!! It was this programme about misbehaving dogs and they visited this dogschool that trained dogs to become guide dogs and one of them was a mix between a LAB and a CHIHUAHUA!! :o

... how can that even be possible?!?!?! :o

When do they come up with a St. Bernard and Chihuahua mix? Or have they come up with one allredy?

Have you ever heard or seen any mix that just seemed TOO weird or odd?

When i volenteered at the humane society a really cute Husky/Chihuaha mix came in. It was 8 weeks old. All black, had the pretty husky coat, face, and curled up tail. But it was very small like a chihuaha. :o
It was the cutest thing i ever did see. :D
Of course, the pup had a home that very day it came in.
Angelboddy: Awww! :D That sounds adorable... but... umm... how can that mating be possible??
I'm not sure, and I don't think I want to know how it was done. Some people can be very weird and think certain types of dogs would look great together.

At the park last weekend I saw a yellow lab and boxer mix. I had to ask the lady are you positive it doesn't have ridgeback in it. she said she was positive, it was her friends full-blooded boxer and they are positive it was a neighbors full-blooded lab. The dog looked exactly like a ridgeless ridgeback, just a poor example of one.

It's OK Abker!

I think really small dogs X really big dogs are the wierdest....

Ok, here's one to think about (No offence Crested)...

A Chinese Crested X An Old English Sheepdog!

Small X Big

Hairless x HAIRY!

But most likely the pups would be hairless, I'm just wondering what it would look like....can we use Ben as a stud Crested....? :evilbat:

She looked like a Golden Retriever and Saluki Mix... Her coat was white with just the right tint of Golden and she was average sized...I HAVE to have her!!! I'm seriously going to BEG my 'rents!

my old neighbor used to have a kennel, anyway, when she retired and got rid of all of her animals she kept a couple, one was an English Springer Spaniel Female and the other was a mini doxie male sure enough they breed, I never saw the puppies but I guess that they would have looked funny

Its amazing what odd mixes you can come across.
One a visit the SPCA I saw a dalmatian/basset mix...looked like a basset with dalmatian markings, very goofy looking.
On Petfinder.org the other day I saw a german shepherd pug mix, very cute.
Decided just now to see what interesting mixes were currently on petfinder...so...lets see if I can get these links to work...
