Marble Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 okay, this is the last try.......hope they are not too big, i could not get them over here so follow the link. enjoy, lemme know what you think. if anyone has any more guesses what dresden (the spotted one, lady is the whitish one) is mixed with let me know (attention hobbit :) ), i'm 100% sure she's part australian cattle dog......and she acts part doberman. enjoy :) http://www.clubphoto.com/_cgi-bin/app.pl/albums/large_image_view?id=1305904&link_code=sa01_17 Quote
pei obssessed Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Hey Marble, I love Dresden (Lady too)! She looks so fit... The marking on the legs made me think of Pointer mix. Whatever the mix, she's adorable    Quote
Aroura Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Yep, I'd say a pointer mix, maybe with some Koolie??? They're both gorgeous dogs anyway  Quote
bk_blue Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Lovely photos!! Dresden is so beautiful and I still can't get over how much she resembles bk even though their colourings are very different.        Quote
Rowie-the-Pooh Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Wow! :d What pretty dogs!   Dresdan looks sooooo much like a Dobe mix! But I remember in one of your posts you said it't couldn't be cuz of the genes or something like that...she looks SOOO much like a Dobe though! :D :D :D They are both VERY pretty, you are soo lucky to have them! :D  Quote
Marble Posted May 11, 2003 Author Posted May 11, 2003 thanks you all :) yeah, they are a handful, it's a good thing dresden is so cute or i might have given up on her, i just could not look at her and give up with a clear concience....her eyes and those crazy ears were too much :)......you all here who helped me so much when she was younger are a big part of the reason i stuck through her terrorizing stages, i really had my moments where i was ready to throw in the towel. she is doing so incredibly much better now, she's actually been very affectionate and is even doing decently well off lead. if we can just deal with the dog agression thing we'll be doing really well, it's just when she can't meet them, when she meets them she's fine but she's so spastic and scary that most people freak out and don't want her anywhere near their dogs.........other than that though she's good, she really does very well with people....... Barbiro Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 You have a pretty fur-family. I'm glad you didn't throw in the towel. They're both beautiful. How well do they get along? Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 BK bet you love that long tongue good looking dogs :) Quote
ellieangel Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 Hmmmmmmmmm Well if I had to guess I would say dobey x aussie definately ! Whatever she is she's beautiful ! Quote
Malamum Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Great Pictures :D if we can just deal with the dog agression thing we'll be doing really well, it's just when she can't meet them, when she meets them she's fine but she's so spastic and scary that most people freak out and don't want her anywhere near their dogs You pretty much just described Indy. If he is allowed to socialise, he is fine but if he just see's anohter dog he goes berserk!! If you figure out a way to overcome it let me know, I will be all ears. Quote
