2. We have doggie food Bandits, Our cats jump up on the stove and eat the Chicken we make for Clea, if the pan is uncovered.. its very amusing to watch. Whiskers holds back as a lookout, while Mary the mother, and her daughter Hazel go in for the kill (the chicken leg), i walked in yesterday to find them drinking up the soup since most of the chicken was gone...
3. Congrats! I know the wait for a new pup can be aggravating, especially when you see the pup and then have to leave, but hang in there it'll all be worth it!

9. For the short while i've had Clea, I've had loads of people ask me if she's a Lab puppy..
10. Lately, i've been taking clea out for walks on her lead, even though she's used to being off-lead, and she's not really accepting it well. Sometimes she'll try to break free, or just refuse to move, then when i try to pull her a bit, she plays dead by sprawling out on the floor.. And then usually if she does walk she consistently tries to bite the lead and pull it or she'll walk fine with part of the lead in her mouth.. if i take it out, she just does it again.. :-?
11. That is so cute!! Never knew that bout Cairn Terriers  Question, why did your hubbie's boss ask you for advice if she was going to defy you either way! :-?
12. Ok, for the past few days, everytime i take Clea to the park in our comopound, the neighbour's KIDS are there, with there 4 month old, terrier/poodle mix, Cookie. Now the kids range from 4-7 years old, and in total they are usually 6 kids, just like today. Anyways, since the first time Clea met Cookie, they immediatly start to playfight, but i always found it odd that that was the FIRST thing that they did, i mean sure, a little sniffing at first but then they both plunge headfirst into fighting... But i told myselft, they're both puppies, and are just playing, mostly 'cause Cookie's the first puppy Clea met after quarantine and i really want her to meet as many dogs as possible. Today the same thing happened, cookie came into the park and POUNCED on Clea, and they just carried on like that for a good 15 minutes, i was watching them the whole time except at the end, the 5 year old kid got stung by a bee, so i was trying to calm her and her sisters, meanwhile my back was turned, when i glanced over my shoulder, Cookie growled at clea for some reason and then it got ruff, they started biting, i mean seriously biting, so i tried to break them apart and Clea bit me on the thumb accidentally.. My question is, will this make Clea agressive towards any future dogs she meets? I'm really worried, and upset at myself, but i had no control over the situation, i guess i should have broken them up earlier but... :-?
13. Hey Joe! Welcome to Dogo, May i suggest A Golden Retriever? Very kid friendly, easy to train, not so much with the protective instincts, as they are not guard dogs but then again you will find most dogs protect their owners, is both a good inside and outdoors dog, can handle hot and cold summers, and is overall very easy going, yet active and playful! hope i helped
14. Yes! Clea is home!! aah, i'm in love!! Well the whole story isss... this.. right after i posted about having to get her "tommorow" my mom told me that we'd be getting her that day!!! I had no idea! So soon enough the breeder dropped her off, and she was so quiet and shy, i guess cause it was a new environment and also because she was separated from her brother, but anyways, i took her into the garden to play with her (nevermind it was like 9 o clock pm) and then she got so hyper!! she started darting between the trees and flowers like a bullet! Then we took her in and got her settled in her new bed(and i covered the ENTIRE kitchen floor with newspapers, because she has a tendency to go in the night,) Rowie came over yesterday and thought it was hillarious that i'd gone to such extreme measures  So anyhoo, I was so worried about her that night i barely slept, and woke up at 5:00 am, without an alarm, and i took her out for a walk in the garden, and then i fed her breakfast, and headed for school, the next day Rowie(human) came over and before she did I played with clea and took her for a walk OFF LEAD :D She's so well behaved!! Good thing too cause she hates her leash and collar! But she'll have to get used to them anyways! So when Rowie came, we gave her a bath and got her all cleaned up! It was so adorable! She looked like a ferret all wet n skinny! And she glared at the hair dryer! Of course we took LOADS of pics, which I have yet to upload  Today when i came home from school, I let her out of the kitchen and put together our lunches, and we ate together, I've found thats best since she gets confused when i eat after her, then went straight out for a walk, but she seemed a bit tired so i brought her back and we just jammed in the garden for a while, until she got into her Hyper active stage, and then we went for yet another walk, or "run" i should say! I run and she follows, great excersize for both of us! I swear i've lost weight since i got her! Since i barely eat, and run around for ages! Having a puppy is tiring and rewarding! So far we have "sit" and "fetch" down, although she doesn't always follow through but is making great progres.. and oh yea, she still can't answer to her name! I'll post pics as soon as i'm done with my homework! Which i will do in her company, as she hates being left alone, she's whining as we speak! oh yea have i mentioned... I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15. I GOT CLEA!!!!!!! :D oh shoot! the bell just rang, im still at school, will update later
16. Bad news all! :( Well not bad news per say, but anyways, Clea isn't coming home today, have to wait till tommorow :-? I keep getting my hopes up high, and getting dissappointed...
17. well basically just copy the image into paint, and use the text tool to write over it, then copy that back into Jasc, just make sure they're all the same size, but the problem with that is that it then becomes part of the image, and can't move alone.. :-? hold on i'll look and see if i can find anything better
18. Hey Leeann! about the speed of the transition, i have absoloutley no idea how to make it slower/faster, but for the text, what i do, is make the frames in paint, so you can adjust how big you want the text and such... hope i helped! :D
19. oh and another one: How many times a day should I feed her? (I'm extremely clueless on this)
20. Hello All! As you know Clea is coming home tommorow :D , And i need a little help with her diet.. Ok for those of you that don't know, Clea is my 2 month old golden retriever who is coming home from quarantine tommorow, and my questions are: Is there a specific diet that i should follow for puppies? What vegetables are ok to feed dogs, and should they be cooked or raw? Is there anything that i should COMPLETELY abstain from feeding her? Anything else that you have to add would be great!
21. I for one blame the media for Pitties' bad reputation, its just so upsetting to see so many people bear a predisposition to just hate all pit bulls, when most of them have never had a truly bad experience with a pit bull... but in the end of the day, its their loss..
