Awww! Thanks everyone! :angel: Well we DID see them today, and it was pure BLISS!!! :D :D the last time i was this happy was when i found out i was getting her! She's just PERFECT! lively and playful, but not too hyper or too submissive, and she warmed up to me real fast! as soon as she was let out of her cubicle, she crawled into my lap and started licking and nipping my fingers! I'm in love! tommorow we'll be going to a couple of pet shops to buy everything we need.. OH! forgot to add.. since its been nearly 3 years since i've owned a puppy, im going to need your help, on things like diets and exersize and stuff! rowie lent me 4 dog books, i've read each one at least 3 times:D I'm so excited:D!!!!

ok, due to my 22 day hiatus, provoked by loss of internet, i never got a chance to tell you guys.. I'M GETTING A GOLDEN RETRIEVER!!!!! :lol: :lol: Finally, i will join the wrath of the dog owners world!.. it really is a dream come true, i've wanted a golden for 3 YEARS! ok the story FROM the top :D New year's eve, rowie(human) was throwing a little party for some of our friends, and since new year's day is my birthday, she suggested we have a sleepover to celebrate it... anyways, after the midnight struck, we were pigging out and then i suggested we retreat to rowie's room to hang out for a bit, after we got there rowie asked everyone to leave so that she could talk to me for a second, and she gave me incredibly cute birthday cards, when we walked back downstairs i saw candles in the kitchen from afar and then im like: i knew u were going to get me a cake! when we got in the kitchen the lights flipped on and i saw my mom, her best friend and her daughter, 2 of my other friends with HUGE choco cake and presents. I burst into tears immediately of course.. i couldn't believe my mom sacrificed her new year's eve to surprise me.. so after much crying and laughing and excruciating hugging, i opened the presents.. a silver and gold daisy necklace which to this day i haven't taken off, and from my mom.. well ok.. earlier that day i asked her for a clue as to what my present was, and she said "24" so i sed: is it a watch? dont get me a watch.. i lose them quickly" my mom just laughed.. so i opened the box like present to find ... a silver and gold Giovanna watch! but i really do like it.. and i havent lost it.. yet :lol: anyways there was a small paper in the box, everyone was just like READ THE PAPER! so i pick it up and it says: in 24 days you will have your present, now you can name your (flip paper) DOG!! :P of course i started screaming and crying again, then rowie says: Nadz its gonna be a Golden!! then i just SHRIEKED from sheer joy! :lol: turns out my mom and rowie had been planning this for nearly 3 weeks! i would just like to take the chance to thank rowie so much for helping make my dream come true, it means so much to me and i love you for that and for everything rowie.. :wink: so anyways, about the dog, well the breeder is EXTREMEMLY responsible.. so much that he visits the quarantine twice a day to feed his dogs, my doggie will be imported from either Thailand or Czekoslovakia(sp?), she will be a bitch, about 4 months, and rowie and i are visiting her tommorow!!!! I'm so excited! then were going shopping for dog stuff!!! i'll take loads of pics i promise.. :D Any suggestions on dog names? :-?

you're not being a bad owner, your being responsible, and think of it this way: if you were your neighbour, would you rather a "dangerous" dog be muzzled, or not?

I agree with the others, go for the treatment, at least then you will have done everything in your power to help Boonie... Crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, and everything else crossable :wink: Keep us updated.. hope all goes well.

YAAY! A new pom! I love pomeranians, in fact my last dog was a pom named Polo! he was actually quite peaceful.. anyways congrats on your new puppy, and remember.. WE WANT PICS! :lol:

ouch! hope bailey feels better.. about the licking, my friend's dog once licked her wound so much it got seriously infected, so perhaps wrapping a bandage around for a few days so she cant get to it..

we had a similar problem with polo when he was just a little pup! so what i would do is firstly keep the puppies well hydrated, because they lose a water due to diarrhea.. as to what could be causing this.. i think its very normal for puppies to have temporary diarrhea, but if you've changed their diet that could be it.. or if their exposed to parasites(but i highly doubt that) if you can get them to vet for a fecal sample that would definitely help.. for now keep the water coming! hope they're better soon.. :wink:

Aroura- Awww Shucks!! :angel: Toffee is a mix breed, and its too soon to tell, but I'm guessing a Golden Retriever Mix because one of his siblings was a younger version of Rowie!!! (dog) and THANKYOU, [b]OH SO VERY MUCH!!![/b] for all the advice and info on breeders! I love you guys, and I KNEW I could count on you to help! :lol: Keep em comin! (ps. Maurie and I will post links and ask for opinions, and also were going to visit toffee and Co. later so expect some pics! :D )

DOGO!! its so good to be back!!!!!!! Well not actually back! I'm actually at Rowie's house now :D Rowie the DOG is SOOO BEAUTIFUL NOW! She is ...she's ....UNDESCRIBABLE!! We'll post pics tommorow! I'm sleeping over and im so excited!!! Also were going to the BSPCA tommorow so there'll be plenty to tell! :D Ok so now for my stories! Okay last week I went to the BSPCA with my mom and we... HAD A BLAST!! We walked an adorable and beautiful collie mix named Alex, and saw a litter of 7 puppies that were found near a construction site. :cry: Anyway knowing me, I fell in love with all of them, but one really captured my heart (I secretly nicknamed him Toffee!) he was an adorable toffee-ish color with 4 white paws, UN-fortunately they were only 25 days old :cry: So I couldn't adopt him quiet yet, but I can reserve him, which I will do tomorow morning with Maurie. So my mom and dad are convinced!! But we need to prepare for the pup...Anyways that got us thinking (us being me and my mom) and we both really want a golden retriever, whether or not the whole Toffee thing works out, so were looking for a good golden breeder, and get this... MY MOM IS WILLING TO SHIP!! :D If the Toffee thing works out, we'll get a Golden possibly one or two years after Toffee comes home (plus depending whether he is or is not dog agressive) so if any of you know of a good breeder, please send me a pm or post here :D :angel: I'm so excited! Finally, I'll have a dog, and possibly even two!! I just HAD to tell you guys! :angel: I miss dogo so much!!!! :cry: but with all the schoolwork and everything.. its so hard to keep up, plus my internet is down half of the time!! :evil: Anyways, I'm off to research golden breeders in germany! <-- my mom told me they have good breeders there! :D Bye guys!
