What a good boy Cody! Give him an extra cookie and hug from me too! (poor pup's gonna be loaded with cookies and hugs :D) Glad he did so well, and I can't WAIT for pics! I think the boxers name was spelt Isaiah, if its anything like the person I know's name.

I'm not sure about this...all of our dogs have always had dew claws Ialways thought it was too late to remove them when they were fixed. But as for the back ones......I think since dogs aren't supossed to have back dew claws they remove them automatically. Or I always thought they were born without them anyway.

I know I'm so late (have been busy) but so sorry about Pepper. And just like everyone said, don't blame youself, you saved her from a horrid life and showed her kindness. I know it could just has easily been me, Chaos did look like she would've killed Riley if they had been alone (and if she'd been bigger he outweighs her by 10 lbs) But anyway good luck with whatever choice to make, just don't be hard on yourself. :D

Riley - another tennis ball freak. he could fetch until the cows came home if he had someone to play with. He dosen't really care much for other toys at least not yet, but if he sees a ball he goes nuts. Lucky - Loves all toys old or new. But especially loves tug toys. Whether playing with a dog or human he loves tug of war. Chaos is so funn ywith toys. She can entertain herself for hours. She'll take a ball or other toy and toss it up in the air and catch it when it bounces. She'll even play tug with herslef by holding one end of the rope under her paws. And she absolutely adores stuffed animals. I have a huge collection on my couch, and she steals 3 or 4 a day and just piles them in the middle of the room. At night I usually find her all curled up with like a dozen stuffed animals sleeping peacefully. :angel:

I know the answer cause I came accross it one day....but I didn't know for the longest time!

Just before I get into my question I just wanted to give an update on how things are going. There actually going pretty well, Chaos and Riley pretty much worked out their differences and even though they don't play like I would like, they leave each other alone (this pretty much happened over night, It was nothing I did) So that fine. But....Chaos is starting to snap at Lucky and Riley (Riley is nothing new, but she worships Lucky) But its not a fullout attack, she'll growl and lunge, but then instead of boting she whines and licks their face :-? Is she scared that their going to eat her food or something else? Also, when out for walks Chaos loves playing with other dogs, but if I pet them (and only me, my parents can pet any other dogs) she attacks. I know I have to show her not to do this, but should I get mad or soothe her gently? I'm not sure why it's only me, I don't know if she feels she has to protect me or something. But I am the alpha of her, im pretty sure of that in fact out of everyone in my family she listens to me best. Sorry if this is a little repetitive, she just seems to be developing a few problems lately.

Our neighbours who just moved in next door have a red aussie shepherd hes so pretty! :angel: But since the owners are away from 8 am to 8 pm I'll be taking him for a walk and just keeping him company while their away! I took him for a test walk today and it was great! Sparky (the aussie) and Riley totally tired each other out and Chaos was so good and didn't go after Riley, she was too busy playing with me and Lucky. I think this'll be really great for all the dogs now there even. Sparky's a really good dog, he stays outside all day and inside in the night. He does get attention from his owners but I don't think he gets enough walks or has a job to do, they told me the reason he's outside all day is cause he destroyes things. (even though he's 2 years old) But I think everything's gonna work out fine! Ill get pics of all the dogs together as soon as I can.

We've actually never had a bed for the dogs, when we just had Lucky he had hisown chair, then we moved and got whole new furniture so Luck got the smaller couch and shared it with Chaos, but now with three dogs I think were gonna have to sacrifice the other couch. :o I actually never though of just using a foam matress, might be something to look into. Oh wait actually I lie, Chaos aquired her own bed when we were at a friends house and wouldn't get off and since there dogs never use it they gave it to us, what a sneak she is :lol:

But.....I don't want to burst your bubble, and it really dosen't sound like it, but make sure she dosen't belong to some one and was stolen by some cruel person from her yard. I know, because it happened to me. I found Holly tied to a tree so I immidiately assumed that she was abandoned, but as it turned out she was stolen. Someone could have easily removed her collar, so maybe when you take her for a vet visit you should scan for a mircochip. But anyway Congratulations on your new addition! :D Good luck with her and I hope everything turns out fine.

Can they not live seperated?[/quote] Well I'm not exactally sure how we could do this, the dogs usually have full access to the whole house and the yard, which isen't that big, and I don't think that either of them could be outside dogs.....

Well the situation with Riley has gotten worse.....Every time Chaos sees Riley she flips out, and turns into a whole different dog. I just don't understand why, she gets along fine with dogs outside, plus we've looked after dogs before, a pug plus Holly and she was fine. Were just not sure what else to do....they can't get within 5 feet of each other, I think my parents are thinking of taking him back, so he can find a new home. :cry: Other then that, he's a great dog. Listens well and is so smart. He'll do anything I ask of him and he has just enough energy for me, (probably way too much for the average person :wink:) all in all, he's just an awesome dog, and if Chaos wasen't such a b**** everything would be great. I'm just afraid that one day its gonna get really serious, and one of them is gonna really get hurt. Poor Riley really tries to avoid the fights, he's submissive to her, but she picks on him, and yet she's putty in Lucky's paws :-?.
