  1. Great idea!!! ....no nails for me, I'm not too girly like that. Only use a little makeup, and can't be bothered doing my nails. I would go to work in shorts or sweats if I could get away with it
  2. They are beautiful!!!
  3. Poor baby  Run free
  4. That was beautiful behle, makes it hard to write after that  My comment, after just going through this in February too (16 1/2 sheltie mix, Trixie) is the dog will know when it is time. If he doesnt' seem to enjoy life any more, and you are only prolonging their life for your pleasure, then it is time. If they don't or can't do the things they used to do, it is time, and you will know it too. It is a very hard decision to make, and when you do, know that it really is the right decision for the dog. See if the vet can come to your home, that's how we did it with Trixie and it was best. You don't have to pass an entire room full of people on your way out the door during a very private time. Good luck, I will be thinking of you.
  5. I dressed Daisy up one year for a camp contest as "Super Dog"!!! I tied a red cape around her neck with a big "S" on the back and made her do tricks   She looked very cute!!!
  6. I had Daisy trained by a dog trainer to "walk" on a leash, but she refuses when I have Chelsea with her. It is a lot of work!! Chelsea always wants to lead and the Daisy wants to lead, so I have both kinds of leashes. But when I take them out together, I use the flexi and feel it is better. When I take them out separate, I use leather six foot lead.
  7. :2gunfire:  :boom: Sounds like they need an "accident" :vamp:
  8. I had heard you could stud a male at age 6 months, but don't know about females. Daisy's mother was only about 1 1/2 when she had her liter.
  9. that sounds great!! I would love to get mine done, but don't know if they could handle all 3 together :o You know you're going to have to show us

  21. My Chelsea who is about 10 months had the same problem. She would always pee in her crate. One thing is to limit the food and water after a certain time (if this is happening at night)... maybe 7:00 PM. Also, you could try the puppy pads in the crate. Let her know it is okay to pee on them and then slowly move them closer to the door and then finally out the door to a spot where you want her to go. Chelsea has outgrown this, and I think your pup will too. It is an age thing, I read some where that they can only hold their bladder for a certain amount of time... like 3 months, only 3 hours, 4 months 4 hours, and etc. Also, get a spray for your carpet and the crate that eliminates the pet odor. Not a cleaner, but an eliminator. Good luck!!!!!
  22. Hey, sometimes it's the little things in life that make us the happiest
  23. The raw diet I give mine helps a lot, plus I give them a fish oil pill everyday. That helps too!
  24. I'm sure your heart much ache :( But, I do think you did the right thing for your dogs, it takes a lot to admit that and then follow through on it. Let's just hope they find a wonderul home and someone who loves them as much as you!!
