1. Oh no, it is not for constipation  The bones really firm up the stool. Try adding more veggies.
2. You're welcome!!! If his diarreha continutes, give him some canned pumpkin. (NOT PUMPKIN PIE MIX) That will stop it immediately. Works wonders!!
3. One thing too about mixing kibble with raw meat is that the kibble may force the raw meat to stay in the system longer, which would allow more time for bacteria to grow. Then you can develop problems like e-coli.
4. No, you're not the only breeder :D
5. I belong to K9 nutrition group. If you want to join, they can answer a lot of your questions. it is a Yahoo group - K9Nutrition You may have to be recommended? If so use my name. PM me with any questions.
6. We installed a doggie door at home about 3 weeks ago, and all the dogs are finally using it. It is the best thing we ever bought!! (the only problem is Jake brings in all kinds of sticks and leaves to "play" with  ) How many of you have a doggie door?
7. My guys just got a shot for Lyme's disease. (that was in additional to their regular shots)
8.
Some people should not be allowed to own dogs
Just like some people shouldn't have children!! But for children, we have social services to protect them. I wish there were better means out there to protect the pups and dogs from horrible breeders. It shouldn't be so easy for just any one to breed dogs! The SPCA and other humane societies only get involved after there is a problem. There needs to be legislation in place to prevent these problems. There should be a list criteria each breeder has to meet and this should be filed within their locality! :o Sorry......... ranting
9. Hope Mom will be okay!!! We'll talk to you soon!!
10. 1. Do you just feed the raw meats/vegs or do you use a kibble as a base? I feed each dog a little different, but for Daisy, I feed raw meaty bones, veggies cubes when I have them, yogurt, cottage cheese, fruit. A typical day would be: Breakfast: chicken necks and yogurt; dinner: Chicken necks or backs, and a raw egg, or fish and veggies or fruit. I got lazy with Chelsea and only feed her meat in the AM and yogurt and kibble in the afternoon. Jake is on a good holistic kibble only (so far) 2. Do you add any grain, (oats, rice, etc)? I only add grain (rice only) when Daisy is sick, but hardly ever. Now I add pumpkin instead. 3. Do you supplement? Yes, I supplement. I give Daisy L glutamine (sp) for her bowel and a enzyme supplement. And I give all three fish oil supplements 4. Do you fast you dogs? Why or why not? I only fast Daisy when she gets a bad case of diarrhea. To those of you who looked into barf and stuck with kibble, why did you choose to stay with kibble? With Chelsea, it's just easier to prepare, and she can handle the kibble and Daisy cannot.
11. Just saw this, and got a little confused   Great way to promote her!!!

15. You can try mixing a raw egg in with the food for a little more flavor. It is also very good for him. I think you may be right in your assumption, maybe just picky
16. Good luck with it. It becomes easier as you go. Seems like a lot of work at first until you get your own system. :D

19. I watched Good Dog U this morning, and they showed a great way to heel your dog. I just tried it with Daisy, and it works!! It will be slow at first, but I can see her doing it. Did you happen to see that?
20. That's wonderful!!! Congratulations Cover Boy :D
21. Dr. Billinghurst's CHICKEN BARF Diet - case (4 bags) 04101 4 $59.76 Convenient 8oz/227g patties, 12 patties per bag, 4 bags per case Kiger, is this typical of what you purchase? If so, is it one patty per meal?
22.
no mutts????
Nope, just Chelsea..... we were on the "Main Line". Where the rich dogs live 8) :o
23.
Is it off-leash?
Yes!! But you are supposed to carry a leash with you and be able to control your dog at any time.
I bet they were walking close to there owners ?
Not really, they had no idea they were any different (bigger  ) then any one else. They were very gentle and no one seemed to have a problem with any of the dogs there! That's what made it soooo great :D
