Oh, nice stories. Your story, K, is such a heart-tugger. This, by the way, has never happened to my dogs either.

No, I don't think we need one. I know you don't need one to order from 1800petmeds. We just can't buy them over-the-counter.

A similar thing happened at the vet yesterday when we were there. The place was sooooo busy and there were customers all over and waiting in line. I was waiting to pay and a young man walked in with a beautiful old pit. An older lady just stared and then said .... "is that a pit bull?" He said yes, and that was it. But, she was so scared and backed away. So, the dogomanic that I am asked if I could pet her and he said "sure, she is very friendly and loves anyone who will pet her!!!!" She was very sweet and very, very well behaved!!

Most of the links don't work from that site. Puppypolice? Why not post a link as to how to help, Somthing doesn't seem right to me?
Still the vet insists on nailing me for $50 per dog (or whatever it costs) for the test every year! I just don't get it. I have the same conversation with my vet every year but he always insists on giving the test.
That's where the www.1800petmeds.com comes in handy. It is just about the same price, but you don't have to pay for the vet/office visit. (I checked out the prices already)

I don't think so. The dog shouldn't be wandering alone, leash-less any way......

Jake did, but Daisy always gets sooooooooo upset, we actually muzzle her because she can't stop barking :( She has been there too many times when she was sick and in the hospital. She remembers all of it :o

Whoops, I mean Lyme - Lyme disease from deer ticks :o They put him and Daisy on Heartguard. Chelsea is finished her's this month, and we will have to get more for her too $$

I acutally have two vets, because my lab goes to a holistic vet now. I know you can do a state - to - state search for either a holistic or homopatic vet that way. They are more expensive, but worth it. Good luck!!!!

Very cute!! I have been taking Jake in our pool too. Thought I would start him off early  Great pictures!!

I got a small one at Toys R Us, but they had much bigger ones. My dogs mostly use it as a water bowl

My first thougth was a leash law too! I'm sure if she is fined, she will change her tune. Or, the poor dog will be hit by a car, and then she will be sorry!!

Yes, she gets to eat (today). I started with a little yogurt and slippery elm. She was like is that it  I'll wait a few hours and give her a neck or two.
-
I gave in a little and went out and bought some pedialyte for her. She is starving :( We are trying to keep her mind off of food, but it is very hard.

I am sticking to my guns today, but boy is she hungry :( We shall see what tomorrow brings.
