jupiters_gal Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 We got this little guy today from a Saint Bernard rescue.....he's got the funniest little shape. Pudge is 12 wks, was found w/ his littermates in a box in a dump. lovely huh? here's the link to his littermates : http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=4323539&adTarget=468petsgeneral&SessionID=4263a55754ee24f8-app5&display=&preview=&row=0&tmpl=&stat= soooo what does everyone think he is a mix of? Lucky Chaos Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I would say he's a mix of cute and cuter. :D No really, its sort of hard to tell with puppies, but maybe theres some collie or sheltie in there from his markings. Quote
courtnek Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 aw darn....I thought you wanted us to NAME him...LOL I was going to suggest HeavensGrace, from where he was found.... you could call him "Heavi" anyway, those nose markings me think spaniel, but its hard to tell at this age on any dog.... he sure is a cutie though....gonnabe BIG too, by those paws. :D Quote
DogPaddle Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I was thinking there might be some sort of collie in there as well, although the markings could look a bit like a Saint's as well. I guess you'll just have to keep posting pics as he grows so we can see. :D Quote
JackieMaya Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I would wholeheartedly agree with this: I would say he's a mix of cute and cuter. Quote
nadooshkinz Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 he....is... ADORABLE!!! :o He's so cute!! I'm not sure about the mix to be honest, give it a few months  but he is SO CUTE! :D Quote
jupiters_gal Posted April 18, 2005 Author Posted April 18, 2005 since noone has guessed well i'll tell you what the rescue vet told them, St and corgi! my sister suspects basset, but i dunno, he does have a real bulbous domed head. some of the litter had longer, more propotionate legs, and some short and stbby, they were all so cute though! i'll see if his littermates are on petfinder yet and post a link. SAINT AND CORGI? Is that even possible? :o  Was wondering the same thing. Can you picture that conception??? :o I hope the momma was a saint, because a corgi have pups that big would be super corgi!!! Actually, I can see it now that I think of it. Poor McKenzie when she went into heat, she would lay down and try to get the smaller male dogs to get her. HO. The big dogs were no problem but she did lay down for this one small dog so he could attempt to have a go. Luckly no pups from that heat. It was funny, but that was when she got locked up so they couldn't get to her. Adorable puppy. Can't say I see corgi, but OK. Quote
Pumpkin the musher Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Gosh guys, I'm seein' some Malamute, especially if they are all big guys. Really cute!! Quote
