1. my nieghbors don't mind our dogs barking because it alerts them that someones around. So There!
2.
CAN YOU BUY THE FILLED BONES OVER THERE?
I don't know what you mean by filled bones, but I will ask when I go to the pet store. Thanks :)
3. Huy has changed his tune now. Qwill has forgiven him :)
4. Hubby rubbed Qwills nose in a mess on the floor and yelled at him for it, while I was gone yesterday. Now Qwill won't go to Hubby even for love or treats! Now he admits that I was right
5. Qwill loses intetest in his chew toys very quickly. Being as he is still so young I don't want to give him rawhide or other things. How can I interest him back in his chew toys. Could I dip them in beef broth or something? Does that sound silly? He keeps trying to chew things that aren't toys but when I try to divert his interest to an appropriate toy he loses interest.
6. Cloning. I can see certain good uses to cloning. but cloning your pet isn't one of them. It would be like cloning your child. The natural cycle is to aquire your pet, care for and love it throughout its life and mourning it when it dies. Yes its very sad but that is life and it shouldn't be messed with.
7. Oh my what a cutie! I'm sure that spaying her will be fine. Having another vets opinion can't hurt however. I have a female (spayed) who has always acted male, lifting her leg, displaying dominant behavior and humping sometimes. Now that she's older she acts more like a "lady" but I used to wonder if she had an overdose of testosterone :D I hope Everything turns out fine for your pup. Don't worry
8. Never heard of a pet Chiro or a vet doing adj. tho I guess its possible. When my dog had a sore spot on her back the vet said that just like people they can twist wrong . He gave me some steroids(Is that the right word?) for her and she was better in a couple days.
9. People medicine can kill a dog if you don't know what you are doing. CALL YOUR VET!
10. [What breed is he? I have a Male Great Dane 4 months old. I intend to have him fixed at Six months. It won't interfere with his growing. Why would it? He humps a little. Mostly my foot. I sharply say No and move him. I think its dominence with him. I'm hoping that fixing will "fix" the problem  but I always keep him on a leash when we are outside if there is anyone around.
11. Our sweet little fox terrier would growl and bark if dad came in in his police hat. Once he took the hat off then she would smile and greet huim lovingly
12. I used to have a dog that would get trash or ??? One day I come in and My Dad has the dog backed in a corner jabbing at him with a broom and yelling. The dog is growling and protecting something. My mom and little brother and one of his friends were standing around being useless. First thing I did was grab the broom from my dad and throw it away out of the room. I was really mad. My dad said my dog had something from the trash and wouldn't give it up. I retorted that neither would I if he was hitting me with a broom! Then I turned to my dog and said Zorro drop it, and he reluctantly dropped a steak bone on the floor. I picked up the bone and took it to the outside trash and heard my dad say6 to Mom How'd she do that? My dad is a good man, but he never understood Dogs.
13. I looked at a couple but it is expensive! and doesn't cover a lot of stuff. Putting money aside for vet bills is a better idea, I think.
14. Well its my opinion that all creatures look best in the colors they were created with. Even people. Yes I "cover my gray" Just vanity But since a dog can't speak up and say it wants to be dyed I don't think it should be done.
15. My dogs have food bowls in different rooms and spend half the morning gaurding their food and growling at each other. that has changed since Qwill will happily empty all three bowls without a care. I pick up the other bowls with food and now MIni and Speckles eat their food right away
16. Wow have I got a story for this thread. Our family dog when I was in high school got into my room and climbed up on my desk where I was keeping my trash can during "That" I came home with my boyfreind in tow to discover that my Mother had gone out and the dog spread everything all down the stairs and into the living room. I don't know who was more embaressed ,me or my poor boyfreind who suddenly developed an absorbing interest in our wall paper as I whisked everything up and away.
17. Its truely amazing that dogs can sense so much and often end up preventing a tradgedy! Good for you !
18. My sympathy! Our Speckles can clear a room with her farts. I've considered offering her serviices to the local swat team!
19. He is adorable! I know he will give you years of love and companionship!
20. Well, I've never had any trouble moving a house Kat but outside kats tend to try to return to the old home. You could take the kat over to the new house and let him visit.
21.
No...not a smack on the head. 8) Just a night out on the same roof Ford was on. (just kidding, of course! :evilbat: )
HeHe! I like that one!
22. Ditto on the leash idea, That is how I trained my dogs and now they obey even without the leash!
23. Best wishes and prayers for you and Pooh Bear for a successful surgery and quick recovery! :)
