1. What a cutie! Pooh Bear is my first Aussie mix, and if he's any indication of what Aussies are like, I HIGHLY recommend them!
2. Even if there weren't so many thousands of pets needing homes, I would never clone. You can't clone a personality. You might get something that looks the same, but the personality could be totally different.
3. What a great son! Good for him! Don't you just hate neighbors? Actually I only hate one of my neighbors; the other neighbors all like my dogs. I can't believe that idiot called AC on you! GEEZ! I want his brain when he dies, because it obviously hasn't been used!
4. We'll be waiting patiently for Toby pictures, unless you take too long and then we'll be waiting impatiently! Hurry up!
5. I'm so sorry your beautiful Peanut is so sick. I'm sending down all the positive thoughts I can for a complete recovery. Please keep us updated.
6. I just looked it up on vetamerica.com, and I really like it! I think this would work great on Pooh Bear, and I know if I were a dog I would like it a WHOLE lot better! Thanks for the tip! I'm going to order one and have them do overnight shipping.
7.
i like this collar better -- it is probably more expnesive but i don't think pooh bear could chew it. it's made by bite not . . . you can find them at www.vetamerica.com
So how does this collar work? What's it called, and would I be able to get at a a vet clinic or do you have to order it? It looks very interesting. I've never seen that before. And I wouldn't be able to put a t-shirt on him, because I know he would rip it up as he's not totally out of the chewing stage yet.
8. I'm too old to be having visits from my crimson friend, but I still do! I probably won't go through mentalpause until I'm 90! :-?
9. Here's a picture of Mr. Conehead tonight after chewing on his cone. It doesn't look quite the same as it did when I left for work! Does he look pathetic or what! I actually think I got him in mid-blink. He doesn't always look THAT pathetic! 10.
Would he want it if you pretended to eat it?...
My dogs will usually fall for that one!
11. Pooh Bear must think that his cone to keep him from eating his stitches is an ice cream cone or something! When I got home, it had teeth marks all around the whole edge and was fairly bent up. It looks like he'll be going through several of these in the week and a half that he'll have to wear it. Oh, the joys of coning a puppy! LOL
12. I just made a mistake last night! Maya absolutely HAS to have her harness attached to a cable on before she goes outside or she'll jump the fence. Last night (as I wrote in a different post), I took off Pooh Bear's cone, put Maya's citronella bark collar on her, gave her a treat, and let her out the door. I didn't even realize until she was in the middle of the yard that I hadn't put her harness on. Of course she jumped the fence and I had to get in my car and go get her.
13. I think everyone overreacted (myself included). You think we should just put this issue to bed? :)
14. Luckily when Maya jumps over the fence (which hasn't been for a LONG time), she stays in the yards. But it defintely scares me when she does get out. And of course she got out at about 12:30 in the morning, so it was pitch black out.
15. I might have to room alone in Iowa! :-?
16. I come from a farting family. My dad was the king farter, and he taught us all the finer points of farting. Whenever my sister comes to visit from Texas, we always have farting contests, and we usually end up in tears from laughing (and usually end up wetting our pants). I'm hopeless! And I'm bilungual. I can fart AND belch on command!
17. Tonight I got a little discombobulated when I had to get Pooh Bear's cone off, put Maya's bark collar on, and ... let's see, what was that other thing? Oh yeah, Maya's harness! I didn't realize that I forgot to put her harness on until she was already outside. Of course, she immediately jumped out of the fence. I took Pooh out for a real quick pee and poop because I knew he REALLY had to go, put his cone back on, and left Jackie and Pooh Bear in the living room while I went to round up Maya. I drove around to the next block, which is where she's always gone when she's gotten loose. As soon as she saw me, she ran up to my car, smiled and wagged her tail, and took off again. I tried a few times, leaving the car door open, and she would do the same thing. So I turned the car around and started driving slowly the other direction. It took her about a minute to run up to me and jump in the car. LOL
18.
Dogs...how can they want to eat such disgusting stuff?
I had given my three dogs Greenies a few days in a row, and it turned their poop green. Well... Pooh Bear thought that the green poop was a real delicacy! Yuck!
19. Yep, he definitely has to grow into those ears! LOL
20. Isn't this guy just adorable? He's from the same shelter I got my three puppies from. He's a 5 month-old German Shepherd mix. Look at those ears! LOL http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=4439972&adTarget=468doggeneral&SessionID=42895e1c25cf4641-app2&display=&preview=1&row=0&tmpl=&stat=
21. I just LOVE that picture! I hope she doesn't get a big head now that she's going to be a star!
22. A friend of mine used to have a horse who would scare herself when she would fart! The horse would fart and then bolt. LOL
23. LOL. And Tucker thought he got away with it!
24. I love it when I'm lying on the futon and one of the dogs has their back to mine and I do a shotgun fart and I scare them! LOL Or when you do a squeaker and they tip their head from side to side trying to figure out what it is! LOL Yeah, I'm a classy broad!
25. You'll just have to eat a lot of beans and broccoli and fart back at her!
