1.
If so, are gold ones rare? Where can I find these?
Why would you want a dog just because its coat color is rare? You obviously don't have the knowledge to own a BMD since you didn't know about coat colors. Sorry, but the fact that you wanted a dog because of its coat color is wrong, IMO. Anyway, hope you stick around. Welcome to Dogo!
 2. *Applauds for HF* You certainly are a saint! :D Give kisses and hugs to Mo from the Dogo crew! As for his owners, no comment.
 3. CC, heres a quote for you about the whole situation :
Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. Euripides (484 BC - 406 BC), The Bacchae, circa 407 B.C.
 4. Welcome back! You're going to need to post more pics of that pretty boy! :iloveyou: He's gorgeous!
 5.

Tx, I know its a difficult time. And you know Dogoers will always have a shoulder for you to cry on, whatever you decide. But I was just wondering one thing, why did you need a GSD to protect you? On every single Dog Site I have ever visited, they mention that getting a dog just to guard you is a no-no. Couldn't you have gotten a burgalur alarm? And from what your friend posted, it seems she isn't that good at gaurding anyway. Where was she from? I hate to bring up the past, don't answer if you don't want to! Just wondering.. Good luck.
Rowie maybe TX's last post will help
and i never said i couldnt handle what anyone was saying actually i apologized for letting my emotions get the best of me and said everyone has a right to there opinion....i appreciate all the support but that is not the only reason i came here i came for advice and i took it and i learned from it the only reason i got upset at the post is because when rotten two said her first reaction to me getting a dog was whoooa i dont recall ever telling anyone if i had any experience or not or if my husband did so i am presumming that she thought that just cuz of someone elses previous post about asking if i should get a dog cuz i do know that one of friends put a thread on her if i should get on or not or cuz she didnt know me and just figured cuz i got a dog it was bad....as for the breed her being a german shepard i have no problem with there breeds my husband is in love with that certain breed and that is what he has experience with so of course i would get an animal that he knew about...i also didnt know about kids until i had my first and that didnt stop me from having my second and i am sure someone said whoooa i shouldnt of had my daughter cuz i had no experience...now for those of you that are worried that i might run out and get another dog i wont this is a hard decision so if that is your fear dont worry about that it isnt going to happen anytime soon

I was wondering where she got Star from, and it doesn't mention it there. Nor does it answer any of my previous questions.
it doesnt bother me to answer and i didnt get a dog to protect me i got a dog to be part of my family probably way to much info but after my husband and i got married six years ago he said since i am gone alot i would love for you to be protected and that is when he started teaching how to use a weapon and be comfortable with using one...and that is what my husband bought for protection not star...i am sorry if i came across that that might be why i got her...i might of said it gave me security for having her because i know if someone were to come in my house her barking would alert me but again that is not why i got her...just wanted to explain myself
Thanks for clearing that up, TX! I got the impression because you kept mentioning that your husband got Star to protect you. Anyways, please keep us updated! Just one more thing, where did you get Star from? A rescue? Because you mentioned an abusive past.

 7. I'm so sorry your in such a tough situation like this. :( The way I see it, I'd never risk my child's safety. So you are left with two options, give her out for adoption or have her PTS. If you have her PTS, your sure she is suffer-free and you can give her a nice end to her life. On the other hand, she can keep on living with another family with no (or older) kids. The risk that comes with this is that the family could return her to rescue who could in turn decide to have her PTS because of her biting issue. This will lead to a confusing end to her life. I also recommend talking to your hubby about your decision. I'm sure he has things to say, too. Please keep us updated! Hugs for Star.
 8. I think DP would be better off with someone she can regularely (sp? sorry really late at night) contact, preferably with e-mail? Sorry DP, don't know any MinPin breeders. :(
 9. Poor Taurus. :( I really hope you find what's wrong with him and can get it treated as soon as possible. Thoughts and prayers are being sent your way!
 10. Daisy Dog? What next? The Rose Retreiver?
 11.
HF, thats REALLY what p*** me off. I absolutely HATE it when people judge me by my age. :x Im sure if I had lied about my age, she would have never known I was 15. You know its funny because the members complain to people like me to not scare off the uninformed people, which would be fine, except for the fact that they dont EDUCATE them while theyre there! So they end up with idiots instead of educated people.
What's the point of a forum then? Man, I love Dogo! :iloveyou: CC, you did a really great job over there, by the way!
 12.
some people cant be helped...but Merle to Merle? forgive my stupidy but isnt that a recipe for disaster? dont dogs go deaf from that combination? or does that not affect Pits like it does some other breeds? :o :o
I think only the bitch had the merle gene. Or was merle.. can't remember.
 13. Well, its seems like Weakness4Puppies does understand now :D ! And a lot of members are "speaking up" so to speak. They just aren't used to speaking up, they seem to all be conformists. Although she says she doesn't care about her pups genetics, she did give money to that breeder. Money that will allow him/her to breed more dogs. :(
 14. One try for the adult Pit bull, five *sob* for the puppy one. Great site! :D
 15. Awww, I truly love each and every single one of you. Dogo kicks ass. :D And 26 pages of pure drama were just what I needed to pass the time, being jet lagged and all. *cries*
 16. I am NOT answering this post until I get pics! So there *stamps foot*.
 17. As long as your Ava is the same, I won't forget. Welcome to Dogo, BuddysMom!
 18. OMG CC! They're stunning!! :D Thanks so much, Rowie's is GORGEOUS! Yipeeeeeeeee!! :bday:
 19.
lol, Rowie, thats what I think too. But my dad on the other hand... "Oh, He can tell the difference between the old one and the new one! That ones silver!!" :o Uhm, Dad? No. GRRR. Somebody wanna train my dad? :P
LOL! Ohh I understand, don't worry! My mom actually wanted to drill a hole into our fence (its actually a wall) so Rowie could "go out whenever she wanted". :o Sweet of her, in a weird way, but what was the point of having a wall anyway? Thankfully, she decided against it!
 20. Zoe, run free at the bridge you golden beauty. You'll be missed. I'm so sorry, Kat. We're here with free shoulders and tissues..
 21. Yay Carson! :) Lets hope he keeps this up! Just one thing I noticed. By letting him play with the destroyed remote, he will take it that all remotes are OK to chew. He won't know the difference between a new remote that isn't acceptable to chew, and a remote that is already destroyed and okay. That's what I think anyway.
 22. OMD!! Merlin is huge! :D What a beautiful pup, thanks for the pics Aroura!
 23. I'll be sure to vote for Cinco! :D JackieMaya, check it out! Pooh Bear/Jackie look alike!
Name: Rogue Breed: Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Mix From: Maricopa, AZ
I actually thought it was Pooh Bear for a second!
 24.

How do people manage to dig up these old threads anyway? :-?
google search
No wonder! They would have been pretty bored people to look through all our old threads. :o
