1. Heyeyey, where are the Merlin pics? I bet he's huge now! Congrats to your breeder on the bobtails! The female is gorgeous! :iloveyou:
2. DAL, your not a bad owner! You did what was best for Styker, and I can't imagine how hard that must be. It was obvious that you loved Stryker very much. Your so brave! Just one question, didn't you adopt him from a rescue? If so, do they know that Stryker has been adopted by Bailysmom instead? Oh, and its great that Stryker was adopted by Bailysmom! You couldn't have found a better person! Bailysmom, you better update us all the time with pics! :D
3. How do people manage to dig up these old threads anyway? :-?
4. I'm so sorry, Izzy :( . Maybe it was for the best. Rest in Peace, Little Puppies (we're losing a lot of pups these days-all to BYBs!). Hope Tina gets better, and we'll be able to see pics of her! :D
5.

Court, its better than finding a camel tied to your gate. :o Thankfully, the owners came back in the next two minutes to untie him. Turned out another camel had run off or something and they needed to keep that camel there. It was really weird. Glad the cow was reunited with her owner!!
OH... MY... GOD... You have no idea how happy I would be to come home and find a camel at my house!!! :D
I'll send you a couple hundred, then.
6. Sending positive thoughts your way! Hope all goes well!
7. Just looking at those treats made me hungry! They look so good! Good job!
8. Court, its better than finding a camel tied to your gate. :o Thankfully, the owners came back in the next two minutes to untie him. Turned out another camel had run off or something and they needed to keep that camel there. It was really weird. Glad the cow was reunited with her owner!!
9. No Izzy! Take pics of her while she's pregnant, then pics of the newly born pups, then an updated pic of each pup each hour, everyday for the next two months.. I guess we can forgive you for not taking a pic of Tina while pregnant, but if we don't get pics of four new born puppies we will be very, very upset. :evilbat:
10. The website is beautifully made, CC. :D Its organized, far from cluttered and the colors aren't clashy. I love the "Dog of the Month" idea, and the pic. of the shelter. Can't wait for the Available Dogs page to be done, I know there will be some amazing stories and pics! Pat's story was so beautiful and sad.
11. CC, what an awesome idea! :D Your banners are gorgeous! I wouldn't mind entering Rowie!
12. Oooh come on Izzy! We want pics! We'll do anything!
13. Freckles, congrats! :) Take lots n lots of pics for us!
14.
I use chicken wire I had some problems with Mandy digging under the fence and then Toto following her  when we first moved here so I put chicken wire a couple of inches under the dirt, covered it back over. Mandy only tried once I was the dirt over the chicken wire misplaced she never did it again. They absolutely hate the feeling of their nails on the chicken wire as you could imagine.
I was going to reccomend that for the digging pit so that they wouldn't dig too deep and manage to dig out. Unless they don't like chicken wire, that's what you can do to make sure they don't leave the yard/kennel, Aroura.
15.

Will he meet the dogs to see if they get along?
Well he's been non reactive to other dogs so far, so thats good. He shouldn't have a problem with Lucky or Riley, but Chaos can be quite bitchy to dogs on her territory, so I might try introducing them on neutral territory, or wait until he's been here for a bit, and keep them seperated, and then see how things go. he's also the same size as Chaos (45-50 lbs) so thats a big plus, as usually the dogs she gets aggressive with a are large, or female.
Well hope all goes well then. :D Keep us updated, LC!
I just hope he's handsome enough to find himself a home.
Of course he's handsome enough! He has amazing eyes.
16. Awww poor Zeb. :( Oh well, at least he's happy and healthy!
17.
I dog proofed my house, but they still get in.
 HF!
18. Oh my DOG that Pittie is gorgeous! :iloveyou: What a great person you are for fostering! I saved *cough* all *cough* his pics. Couldn't resist. Will he meet the dogs to see if they get along?
19. There should be leash laws for kids
20.
Rowie, you might be interested in doing the Sloughi as well since they are very similiar. I'm not sure what the popular opinion is anymore regarding whether or not they ARE the short-coated variety of Saluki, or if they are a diffrent breed altogether. You also may want to look at the Caravan Hound (if it's worth doing), it's very similar to the Saluki, and is probably in fact only a regional variety of that breed.
Hey Canis. I took your advice and researched the Sloughi a bit more, and found this :
The Saluki and Sloughi compared. These results reveal that the Sloughi breed is not integrated in the Saluki’s gene pool, therefore cannot be derived from the Middle Eastern Hounds brought by the Arabs when they invaded North Africa some 1300 years ago. If this happened, it was of such a minor scale that it had virtually no impact on the maternal lines of the Sloughis of this study. In fact, the three distinct maternal lines of the Sloughi suggest that those maternal lines might have been geographically isolated in Africa for several thousand years. If combined with the shared sequence with the Basenji and other African breeds, up to 67% of the female population of the Sloughi might have been in North Africa for a very long time.
From: http://sloughi.tripod.com/SFAA/MitochondrialDNA.html So basically, DNA research has shown that the Sloughi and Saluki are two different breeds. I'll research both. I'm looking into the Caravan Hound as we speak. Thought I should mention, I'm going to Australia on Friday and won't be back for three weeks. Is that a problem? I won't be able to research during that time.
21.
Now if they dig another one, I will let them dig it nice and big then burry them in it.

22. I wouldn't mind researching the Saluki. I'm actually on a Saluki website as we speak. :D
23. I've heard of people who actually build a special digging area for their dog(s). Sort of like a sandbox, usually high off the ground. Teach the dogs that they are only allowed to dig in that section of the garden, I'm sure that there are websites that can help!
