my puppy's breed?

hey everyone,

can anyone help me figure out what breeds my puppy please let me know...ive been told that he's a german shepard mix w/some other kind of breed...but i'm not too sure....thanks =)

More GSD than anything else, deffinately. Better pics would help though. I keep thinking I see a more stocky breed in there, like maybe Akita or something...?

I just wanted to add this website with GSD coats and colours. Check out the black sable dog, that's what I think he is. GSD puppies change colours as they grow (get lighter). You might want to find pictures of dark/black sable GSD puppies to compare.

Sorry I was so late in seeing this, I've been on the go since Thursday. My very first thought upon seeing the photo of this beautiful dog was 'Is this a Dutchie?' thinking about Dutch Shepard. Could be some Malinois in the background or Dutch Shepard but Dutchies are kinda rare. Dutchies are generally much darker than Malinios and many times have a brindle coloration.
How old is your pup and how big? The body type as far as I can see does look a bit more compact like a Mal or Dutchie.
Whatever his parentage, he's a beaut!

thansk =) err kobe's 8 months old weighing about 50 pounds, and he's about 2ft when he sits up...does that help?

I would have guessed pure German Shepherd. Is that possible? Maybe there is something pure black and tan like Doberman too.

GSD's can come in black. I do think though that the pup might have something else in it. I don't see pure GSD in the face.

thanks all again you people are so sweet...I have no idea...but he is quite small to be all pure GSD...when I asked my brother, the one that brought him home, he said that kobe was a full breed :niewiem:
