Awwwwwwwwww, Pei he looks adorable. :iloveyou: I have some boots for Rosie but that's because she's sometimes gets her pads cut on the heath and I use them to protect her foot.

They do wear coats though. I'd love to see them in those jim jams. I love dog apparel.

marion, those are pics from when she was a baby and would get cold--now she couldn't wrestle all the dogs at the park and run like mad if I still dressed her up like that  But she still has booties for the city streets in winter when they put salt to melt the snow... and the salt is just horrible for dogs' paws :x

actually, I was considering a sweater for Laurel, but have decided I'll wait and see how she handles the winter first. She has NO undercoat, which surprises me since she lived in a kennel, and although heated I'm sure it wasnt kept at room temperature....

I would like to get them both a pair of rubber slip-on boots with velcro or something....It's raining now constantly, and the yard is covered in mud and I have to do the "feet dance" every time I bring them in to clean off their feet. It would be so much easier just to slip the boots on and off, and leave them in the tiled hallway by the back door...

might help when the snow starts too....

Courtnek, putting boots on 4 (8 in your case) struggling, uncooperating feet is far more difficult than wiping feet  Or maybe as difficult :D And somehow they have a way of getting muddy even with the boots on--at least Hippo does
But the boots are good for getting less mud on and for keeping the salt from hurting their paws...

Actually, I'm planning on buying some Doggles for Perry and Pauly. They like to ride with their heads out the windows, ears flapping in the breeze. I know, I know... bad, bad owner I am! I know that dogs are supposed to be harnessed in, chained and shackled inside secure crates, strapped down to their seats and all that. Ok, so I let them ride with their heads out. I am going to buy some Doggles to at least alleviate any worries of debris flying into their eyes.
