Oh god don't mention chihuahua to me. I'd take this little guy in a second if he was in this country. :( He's adorable and having lost my little Cleo :angel: I'd love another, especially one with special needs as I have the time to devote with not working now. Such a shame, I hope he finds a forever home. :iloveyou:

I donated to them for the Katrina animal rescue etc. Now I don't know if I did the right thing. Just goes to show you never know. :-?

She is adorable, and in the flesh too. :iloveyou: To be honest I'm speechless and don't know what to say to comfort you at this sad time. It's truly heartbreaking and I will be thinking of you all constantly knowing the pain you are going through. :( Love to Gladis, I hope her passing is peaceful. :(

I know I haven't been here for a long time but thought I'd still let you know. I had to have my darling Cleo PTS yesterday, :cry: :cry: :cry: I had the vet come out to our home and she went peacefully in my arms with Bri and our Sue either side. :cry: I held her for such a long time afterwards kissing her telling her how much we loved her. :iloveyou: :lilangel: Then we made up a lovely box with her cuddly and mattress and took her by car to the Pet Crematorium where we had her cremated and put in a lovely casket. She came straight back home with us. :angel: The last eight months have been wonderful with her presence full time in the house. :buzi: I feel so lost and heartbroken without my baby girl but she was old and her kidneys failed and I knew she was so tired. I spent Tuesday night lay on the floor beside her, I couldn't sleep so I talked to her all night, kissing and stroking her. She'd had two fits and I couldn't rest in case she had another but I didn't want to close my eyes. I wanted to take in every second I could of my girl before I had to let her go. :cry: I hope she is with mam now and they are reunited at last. :iloveyou: RIP Cleo, I love you sweetheart. :iloveyou: :iloveyou: more than words can ever say. :cry: My heart is broken in two but I just want you to be happy and run free sweetie and give us a wave sometime with your little paw. :buzi: [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v364/marion1/PC091379.jpg[/img] This is my first morning without you and it was hard to open my eyes and you weren't there beside me. Had a fantastic time, it was great meeting Zoe and Lannie and several others from another doggie forum. One day is not enough, I'm going for at least two maybe three next year. The shopping is incredible, there is everything you could possibly want and more. Discover Dogs was great, got to look at all the breeds and information on them. Came home loaded up obviously and our legs were aching like mad with all the walking round. Got to stroke loads of Irish, Irish Red and White, English and Gordon Setters. I was in heaven. :lol: The English Setter that came reserve in show was a relative of Jasmine's (my late E/Setter). Jasmine's grandfather won Best in Show in 1977. :D Will post a couple of piccies, but really they are just of our meeting in the bar. Got one of three E/Setters lolling on their benches and an Irish in the ring. :D Wish I'd known you were there Ickle, we probably passed you shopping on Saturday. :roll:

I'm off to Crufts on Saturday to watch the gundog group. It's about an hour's drive from us so looking forward to it. :wink: Meeting up with Zoe and Lannie (ellieangel and snowpaws), can't wait to meet them for the first time. Will let you know how it goes. :D

We found a stray Staffie wandering round the heath tonight. She'd followed several people round then attached herself to Bri and the girls. It was getting dark so we couldn't leave her, she had no collar on and she might of got run over. When we turned round she'd gone having a nosy in our house anyway. She sat round the table with our three while we had our tea and then Bri did their tea while I made a couple of flyers up. Didn't put too much info because Staffies get nicked in this country. She was so friendly and lovable, he went the local shop and someone had already been in asking about her. They gave Bri a general location nearby and he drove round knocking on some doors. He eventually found the owner who'd been looking for her since 2pm this was now 7pm. She'd jumped a 6ft fence and got out and the owner had been driving the roads round the heath looking for her (might of been better if she'd gotten out of her car and walked the heath). She said she was worried because people are frightened of Staffies and think they are vicious, her name was Wendy and it was a happy ending thank goodness.
