2. This is a great site for people with questions about the BARF diet. The ACV was a big surprise to me........ quess I will get some (Apple Cider Vinegar) http://www.njboxers.com/faqs.htm
3. Thanks Nancy!! That's great. I just looked at the link for the meatballs. Yum pureed chicken liver sounds so tasty  Great idea to make a large amount and then freeze. The eggs are raw too, right?
4. Oh, I am so sorry to hear that! :( Know we are here for you and one day you will meet again..... some where over the rainbow
5. Ok, i'll give it a try.
6. Even for Chelsea? She is only 9 mo. I thought they would be safer if cut up  That's what the vet told me to do..... I think Daisy would be okay. But, anything else like beef or etc? (P.S. I did look on the site from Canada, but it is only in Canada- Thanks)
7. Yea! We all know how hard it can be!! Good job :D
8. Most of you know about the trouble Daisy was having with her bowels, and since I took her to the homopathic vet, she has been wonderful (only a small bout lately after eating another sock :o ). My problem is, I am sick of cutting up raw chicken backs :x Is there any other raw food I can give my dogs that would be easier, and a little variety for them? Thanks :)
9. Well, bring him back a little early and save him a small piece of cake!!! I know you shouldn't give your dog cake, but for special affairs, I give in!! I consider them part of the family too :bday:
10. Oh, sweetie, you made me laugh out loud!!! :roflt: That was a good one  - But sorry for your
11. I was surprised to find out that at our local pet shops, Pets-R-Us, they sell dogs with breeders and health records. I thought they were from puppy mills too, and they are not  They are not AKC, but some other certification I was not aware of. They say they come from "hobby" breeders???? Anybody ever hear of this?
12. I'm sorry too, but this extra time maybe a sign that you are to spend some alone time with Freebee. I am always ready to get another dog, and then I really ask myself if it is the right time  Maybe it's not your time? It will happen, and maybe when you are not expecting it......
13. Whewhooo!! Way to go!! Congratulations!!!!!
14. Courtnek: Maybe the place to look is under the classified ads. If you go to the pet finder page I told you about before, at the top in fine print is a spot for classifed ads..... for people who don't want to place their dogs in a shelter. Surprisingly, there are a lot of dogs there. Give it a try. It maybe better to deal with the owner instead of the shelter. Good luck!!
15. I call Daisy: Daisy Maisy, Dais, boo boo, baby, poopers, bubba Chelsea: Chelsea Lou, Chelsea Sue, baby,  poopers, bubba Together, I just usually call them girls.... hey girls, come girls, Etc....
16. Do you have a relative or friend who can foster them for you until your yard is ready? You don't always have to pay to have your dogs trained. A few minutes a few times a day will enforce certain behaviors. Maybe you could work with them more than you think.... It sounds like maybe the house is just a bigger priority now and the dogs are on the back burner. If you really want to keep them, I would try to find some one to care for them for you for about a month or so. You could vist and get the house in order, plant grass seed and etc. Before you know it, (with all the rain we have been getting) you will have a lawn in no time  Good luck!!
17. StarFox, so sorry to hear about Zebra. Was there anything different that happend that day? Did he eat anything strange, or was there a new person introduced to him that day????? Anything like that? Did he get yelled at earlier for something that you don't know about, or maybe even hit???? Is he fixed? Is there a dog in heat anywhere? I too think an exam is a good idea if no is the answer to all the questions above..... Good luck!!
18. Can you put a nice piece of moulding on top or a thin layer of wood like luanne (sp)
19. Awl..... well that sweet little doggie helped to you and you helped him!! Very sweet that we can be here for eachother........
20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROWIE!!!!!!! :bday: :bday: (I'm a little late... sorry!)
21. Oh, congratulations!!!!!! What a beautiful puppy!! (don't worry about having to give back the other doggie.... sh@%t happens! Sometimes it just doesn't work out for as hard as we try!)
22. If it was meant to be, it will be!! Hang in there!
23. Good luck today!! We will be waiting to hear how it goes!!
24. I feed my dogs a combination of raw and dry. It works very well, and isn't so expensive that way. In the morning, they get a raw chicken back with raw carrotts and tomatoes and maybe bananna, or whatever fresh raw veggies I have around. In the evening they get their dry food with some natural yogurt on top. They love it
