The parents were on the premises, but we didn't see them, because I wasn't really interested in the pups..... something just wasn't right.

Watching my friends dog and have alittle food problem
Daisysmom replied to Angelboddy's topic in Nutrition
I wouldn't leave the food out for them. Try feeding at specific times during the day, and if they don't eat it within a half hour, I would remove it. Try again later in the day when they are hungry. -
We went out to Lancaster today and looked at puppies at a Kennel. There were a lot of different breeds. It was out in the country, but I really didn't like their dogs. They, not all, didn't look real healthy to me. So, anybody know the difference???? Was this a puppy mill?????????????? a breeder???????????? or what??????????????? Also, before we went there, we went to the Lancaster county humane society. Oh, there were so many dogs, and so many pit mixes. There was a 10 year old rottie!!! HIs name was Bear, and he was sooooo sad!!!!!!!!!! Who the he!! would drop off a ten year old dog?? It made me cry.... I left money at the counter for him, but couldn't take him. He was soooooooooo big and so old. He had cataracts and all :( Poor baby!!! That place was huge, they really have money!!! Three different wings, and bathrooms for guests, and visiting rooms for the dogs to meet with new prospects. Very nice place.

Trixie's cost us $500.00 but it was big! It would probably be cheaper than desexing right now because it is so small.
-
Wow, they are great! But, the sheltie isn't showing up.
-
Sigh........ I thought this was it :( So sorry it didn't work out!
-
Trixie had fatty-tumors. They sound like what you are describing. But, be careful, they get bigger and the bigger they get, the more expensive they are to remove. I agree to have it looked at, it will save you in the long run. Good luck!!

Oh, I have been thinking about you!! Maybe this really is Karma!!! Your reward for being a good girl and returning the lab to her family  I really hope things work out for you!!

Glad he is better!!! (not all frogs are poisonous)

Welcome!! I have never heard nor seen the breed before. Where do they originate?
-
Oh, that is good news!!! Give Ben a big hug too then
-
Wow, they are great!! I always look on e-bay for stuff like that. I want one of those little garden flags with labs on it for the front of the house. I have been looking, but haven't really found one that I liked

Lovely

Very cute picture of Sparks!! We haven't had any more humping episodes........ Umm... maybe it was a fluke!! Hope it doesn't happen again. (My daughter also had her period, and I wonder if that had anything to do with it - because, my older daughter got attacked by a Male Chow [he was my mother's rescue for a very short time] while she was having her period too... WEIRD, isn't it???)
-
Ooops, that was me
-
Yep, yep, yep

Oh, that's painful. Our Trixie had similar problems. She was put on an anti-inflammatory, and then seemed to learn to live with the pain. Hope he feels better soon!

I have rubbed off on someone :beerchug: Isn't that wonderful??? And even more wonderful since it is a pit mix?????
