At home, a Galgo behaves relative calmly and unobtrusively. Galgos bark very rarely. He saves his energy and his Spanish fire for the outside walks. The Galgo normally can be kept in a city dwelling without problems, if it is given sufficient opportunities for movement. When running in the fields, he inspires the viewer by his fiery temperament. He is very affectionate to his master or his family. With strangers, he commonly behaves reserved and careful, but not aggressive. He wants to decide who may pet him. Because Galgos incline to caution and reserve, puppies should be exposed to different situations early in their life. It is also important for them to learn to know other people, so that caution does not change to fear. Galgos get along easily with other dogs. They do not like quarrels. Tilia Posted October 24, 2003 Share Posted October 24, 2003 Właśnie z tej hodowli poznałam kilka psów i ogromnie mi się podobały- np ten: naprawdę przurocze, piękne psy. Obserowowałam ich zachowanie na wystawie- nie było szczekania, warczenia, na otoczenie reagowały pozytywnie, spokojnie, bardzo cieszyły się do swoich pań (i do mijej suki ;) ). Siedzieli koło nas w Dreźnie na wystawie, przemiłe kobiety zakochane w swoich psach, psy zrelaksowane, rozbawione. Bardzo mi się podobały (psy, nie kobiety :lol: ) takie mini-deerki ;) Swego czasu dość mocno chorowałam na galgo, i nadal mam nadzieję, że może kiedyś... ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wirka Posted February 16, 2004 Share Posted February 16, 2004 A ja zakochałam się w tej suce: To Little Lobito Alejandra, czyli Alex, która na wiosnę będzie kryta, ale jeszcze nie zdecydowano kim. Czekam własnie na wieści. Piszę z jej hodowczynią, Claudią - przemiła osóbka. Niby nastepny to ma być polak, ale głupia nie wiem po co - piszę z Claudią i czekam na te wieści miotowe :oops: Galgosy (przynajmniej wg niej i z jej hodowli) mają niesamowicie przyjazny charakter, ale mają dobrze rozwinięty mysliwksi instynkt, więc drastyczne scenki z galgosami w roli głównej nie są jej obce (nie dotyczy scen psio-ludzkich).
