5. We have had our dogs to the chiro vet over the years and I have found the one we go to great. 1 of our Rotties (Rakhan) had a sore back which was radiating pain down his leg, after being treated for what our vet thought was crushieate ligiment damage (sp?) we travelled 3 hours to this chiro vet that works with horses, dogs & Cats and speicalise in sports injurys Grey hounds race horses etc. He fixed Khan up it was actually his sacrum in his lower back. It was unreal to watch. :D Let us know how you get on.

9. After previous posts recently about what people say about there dogs when someone asks, I was wondering whether anyone has told others that there dog was something that it wasnt. Eg: When Charlie was a pup many people thought she was a boxer pup, or staffie mix one day we were camping and these untrustworthy people came up to me at the beach and asked was she a staffie cross or something, I responded by saying she was a boxer x as she was a very valuable and there were not many around (Aussie Bulldog) I must say that I was guilty of not being totaly truthful with these people and I would do it again if I felt that the people may be the untrustworthy type. Dogs get stolen around our country for dog fighting or sold to make money. Has anyone else told a few white lies????????? "No its not a pit its a terrier x????????" :-?
10. Maybe with all the pit bull hype she was trying to hide the fact that it was a pit bull?????? :-?
11. The pups from my last litter cost about $130 au dollars to do and our vets go on size for a Lab its around $180 and its normally more for girls than boys. Laser surg sound like alot of money but I guess if you feel more comfortable with it and can afford it then go with it. On another note if shopping around for a better deal beware if it sounds to good to be true, it often is. We had one of our dogs done years ago where the vet was about $20 cheaper It ended up costing us around $100 more plus time and effet to clear up golden staf.
12. We to have had a dog that displayed many of these traits.
-Frequent pacing in kennel -Nervous and shy -Head lowered, intense stare -Makes wide circle around strangers before slowly coming in with head down; jumps away at slightest indication of danger -Very cautious, watches everything
He was a Kelpie/Collie/Husky mix and we are more than sure he had some dingo in there as well. He was socialised from when we got him (puppy) but he never seemed to get over this fear of everything. He was a very strange dog and learnt to trust some of us in the family more than others. My brother for eg could never get close to him as he was tall and loud so Prince never liked him and he tollerated the rest of us. He would also go phsico (sp?) with large bangs (fireworks, gunshots etc) and before a storm even hit. He would break down doors, trash the house and once when we knew a storm was comming we tied him up to kepp him safe and he went frantic and dug the hugest hole and was digging and ripping at huge rose bushes tearing his tonge open with know relisation that he was even hurting himself. It was the most deverstating thing to see a dog totally out of control. Finally Prince broke through two fences and under the house to escape a storm that hadnt even hit and our rottie JAke followed. Jake was hit and killed by a car and princes fate is still unknown. This was about seven years ago and it still haunts me. :-?

But then I can be selfish.
I am with you cairn he is beautiful HAPPY BIRTHDAY cody. I like the idea of signing it to him. lol :bday: :bday:
20. Great pics, she is photogenic, looks great. :D
21. There was damage to the car and they were uninsured, He was hit just out of town where the speed limit had changed to 100kms an hour so she said she thought she had hit a calf. I would have been happy to hand over the cash had I still had my baby and we were forunite that the puplic Liabilty on our house insurence covered it. We had to have a bloke come around and assess whether the dogs were confinded to a yard or were left to roam, this wasnt hard to prove as Prince had damaged two fences and broken under the house. We also had photos of other times when he had complety shreadded the back door and trashed a croc proof sercurity door. He would go absulutly berserk with storms well before they actually hit town so it was difficult to judge. I still get very upset about it even though its been almost 8 years since. :drinking: RIP Jake (and Prince?)
22. Things like this make me soooo mad. Anymore words fail me.
