2. Oh Im sure the kitty will get use to her  may take a few days but it will all work out great!! My Morgan (dog) and Morris(cat) they use to roll summer saults (sp?) when they played the cat would play as if it were a dog LOL  it was so funny and cute!!
3. That is how my two are. Use to it took both me and hubby (him to hold and me to clip) but now I can do it by myself  I call them to the place to lay down and roll over and sit next to them they may pull the foot Im working on once or twice but thats it I tell them "no" and start again and then tell them how good they are. Then a GOOD treat!
4. Thats a great page. I had seen it before, not really sure where but any ways that is the page that got me started on dremeling my girls nails and I tell y I sure do LOVE it :kciuki:
5. looks good so far... i like the arrow trailer
6. I wouldnt be to worried. I would treat them with the Frontline and check them over sence you dont have a regular tick problem I would think it would be just fine.
There are only three things in the dog world that really give me the creeps...magots, wolfs (as in the fly larve) and TICKS! (The ticks adversion came after picking off over 200 ticks off of a DALMATIAN! Can you imagine the HOURS spent doing that!)
Yuck! I so dont blame you for having the creeps by these I do too! especially after I found that "wolf" larve on that kitten....yuck :-? the others I dont like either. hubby just laughs at me when I find a tick I hold it out at arms length thill I get to where Im ganna get rid of it at. LOL
7. Oh dear! that is a bad way to learn a lesson. poor thing.... :)
8. Well that makes a difference, to be a big Ford fan! LOL  That is great that he seems so into taking care and paying for what she needs, and that litter box thing LOL yeah I agree! I dont think Lance will go near our cat boxes, I take care of them but I dont mind  Congrats! and best of luck cant wait for pic!!
9. Sucker!! *jk* But I would be one too LOL So is her name ganna still be Ford? Someone so bold needs a strong beautiful name :D
10. I wouldnt put a towle or pad in there till you know forsure that your pup is trained. I put one in with Sarah and she tended to potty on it instead of waiting. It took her till she was 1 1/2 yr old till I could put a blanket in there
11. Way to go!!! tell them how it is!!!
12. I would get another dog. It was that one dog not everyother dog....besides I dont think I could go through life without a dog
13. well from my experince mine havent been more aggressive when spayed. I usually have female dogs, dont really know why i guess i tend to favor them  but i have them spayed and have had no prblem. I have had at least 6 girls in the last 12 years. Three in the last 5yrs were girls they are the ones in my siggy  they have all gotten on just fine...
14. well it sounds like he is well on his way to being potty trained!! doing it over and over is the key and lots of positive reinforcements  Way to go!!
15. I have crated sarah (boxer mix)since I found and decided to keep her. It took a little while to get her potty trained as i found out she had a UTI... very painful! now 2yrs later she is doing pretty well with it the only exception is when we leave for the first time of the day... she has some sepration anxities (SP?) but when we come in the middle of the day and let her out to play and do her biz she is ok with going back in when we leave and anyother time during the day while the kennel is open she will go in and laydown, sleep for hours.... I think it was the best choice to kennel her i would hate to see what she may have done if i hadnt.... best of luck with your kennel and pup :kciuki:
16. I dont think a beagle pup would be a good choice. I think out of all the dogs that everyone has suggested that a rescued grayhound woud be a great idea. With you being at work and potty training needing to be done an adult dog may be a better idea. Ive know several people that have adopted a retired raceing grayhoud and they have been great! Mostly couch potatos with a few runs, very mellow and they usually just need a "refresher" course when you get them home on how their rutine should be  My neighbors in Ga had Bostons and they were great dogs. I would watch them when they would go out of town and they were good, well mostly, their youngest had an issue with teething and chewed alot of things up so i got them to kennel train him. Lori wasnt very happy with doing that till she saw how happy the pup was with it. He didnt chew while they were gone and just settled in and slept till they got home or if they were gone till i came over and let him out to play and do his biz... best of luck with your new pet.

18.

*shudders* I'm really not THAT scared of ghosts because I know they can't really hurt you, and most don't want to anyway, but it still gives me the creeps! I have a MILLION ghost stories I could go on for days about all my ghost like experiences  Shannon - First of all, I LOVE your new siggy!! :D Second, I believe that babies until they hit the "memory loss" stage and animals can see ghosts!! :D Oh! A few weeks ago I think Hazel came to me!! :D Well I got in a fight with my mom, over several things actually, but the last was that she thinks I should "get over" Hazel's death by now :o  She thinks there's something "Seriously wrong" with me because I still miss her and cry when I think about it :o  Well, That sent me running to my room bawling, and I was laying on my bed and I felt someone on the bed, and I got this really tingly cold sensation on my shoulder and side of my stomach and suddenly just felt this wave of calmness over me, like someone was there protecting me! When I use to cry when Hazel was still alive, she would always jump on the bed beside me and lay on me like that and she'd stay there until I stopped crying, but she always made me feel better. :)
Thank you HazelNutMeg  That is an amazing story! Just because you still feel the pain towards Hazel, it doesn't mean there is something wrong with you. I still have a cry over Shandy our Border Terrier and that was 13 years ago, it doesn't matter how much people tell you to get over it, they will always be there in our hearts. Ghosts can't hurt you themselves but they have been known to throw things at people :o xxxx
Shannon_C is right. I too have lost dogs that I still miss SO much! I lost Misty almost 12yrs ago. She died young only1 1/2 old she somehow got out of the fence and got hit by a car. She had only been out a half hour but....and then there is Shyanne oh she was such a love. I miss her the most i had her 2years and one day we left to to go do some running. we wouldnt be gone 8hours.... well while we were gone his dad came by and went in to our home.I had no idea that he was to be by. If i had i would have taken her with me, I didnt care for him at all. I dont know if they just got out or if he let them out well Shyanne got hit by a car. Has anyone ever just known something was wrong? Hoped beyond hope that you were wrong? well this is what happened to me the day that this happened..... I was so crushed and i just felt like i couldnt get home quick enough, well I didnt cause she is dead... Its been 7 years since i lost Shyanne and i cry everytime i think about her, I was so blessed to have had her in my life. And last but not least was Tory the rotty in my sig. she was 11yr old when she passed that was a year ago. She had a good life and she will be missed dearly. I cant hardly talk about her with out tears coming to my eyes, like now .....
19.

before she passed and had done witch craft (scares me to death).
May I ask, why?
Im really not sure I never got to meet her, but i was told that it was a life thing.
20. I am just enjoying this topic! I havent had very many gostly experinces in my life and so far none have included my pets but i do belive in them and i know htat they are here with us..... a story my grandma told me was that just after she had moved in to this house that she lived in till she passed on was that the lady that lived there before her had passed and then she moved in and one night after my grandma had went to bed she heard the front door then the two doors to her room open and saw the lady standing at the foot of her bed and she told her "Dont worry its me Ruby, I am ganna take care of your house for you" and she went away and never came back. Something that happened to me was I was liveing in Jackson GA on this 9ac plot of land that my b-friend (at the time) dad owned and it had been in there family for who knows how long. anyway his grandma lived there before she passed and had done witch craft (scares me to death). At the time i didnt know all of this i just knew that at night i wouldnt go out of the house.... I had this BAD feeling.... anyways I broke up with him and some friends came to help me get my stuff and it was late we were almost done and my friend said "Wendy? Is that you?" but no it wasnt me i was still in the house. He saw a gost, well the upper part of it anyway. there was no bottom half to it and it walked right up to and then past my friend. *eeks* There was something very bad there I didnt stay long at that place!!!
21. Oh im so sorry! that was so fast, i just didnt think it would be that quick. You and your pup are in my prayers. Be strong ((((HUGS)))).
22. happy b-day!! :new-bday: Wow that cake looks good! *per Morgan and Sarah* The Look on her face in that third pic is wonderful!!! :iloveyou: :facelick:
