What the little beggers wont do for some 'treat' but I dont think she would have liked it if she got it LOL :lol:

Today I worked in the stray side and we have several pits that were taken from a fight ring. One was def. a fight dog ears cliped and everything and 3 or so of 'bait' dogs one was a md size female tan and white and smaller and younge black one and a pup 3 or so months red and white one they are all very pretty but I REALLY fell in love with the young little red and white boy. Well today I was playing with him and looked at his hold papers and noticed a cage card for the adoption side! He passed all his tests and is gonna get to go to adoption but he has to wait till the police hold is gone..... I dont know how long that will be but Im still so happy to see that he will go to adoptions....

It was the right size for there size the 'regular 20-50 lb' name brand not an off brand of it or anything.... they had been put up in the kennels for atleast an hour before they got them cause I had just gotten off work and had to get cleaned up before I have anything to do with them. I dont want to pass anything to them from any of the dogs I had worked with during the day. Hubby had let them out before I got home and then put them back up. before I gave them the treat she looked normal. the treat could have been a bit strong I kept smelling the minty flavor smell for a bit after they were finished.

I was and still am very shocked. that made me cry even harder than the tribute....so sad and such a waist.....I too belive they should be heald responsable for their actions.

Well they spayed her and took the pups. I am upset bout this but Im looking on the bright side and thinking At least they are giving her a chance at adoption. They could have just given one shot and that could have been that....... I cant wait to see her on the adoption floor....

Have yall given greenies before??? I had given some about a year ago the girls really liked them and all the stuff that you reg. hear about them. Any ways on to now.... I thought that I would get another bag for them and give them a few during the week. I gave them one 2 days ago and they ate them and enjoied them, then today I gave them one and a bit later maybe half hour or so I looked at Sarah and all round her eyes and just under them were all swolen up. I gave an allergy pill and about 2 hours later she looks normal, eyes like they are normally. Has any one had reactions to these chews before>??

They were a tan and a light brown color very pretty. :)

She is pretty far along and Im not real sure that they would put her down just cause she is pregnant. They do two diferent kinds of temperment tests on the dogs and then they get to go over to adoptions if they pass the test and then they desex the dog when they are up for adoption. They did not do anything with the dog sooner cause she was a stray and they had her on hold well she is still on hold I didnt see when her release date was. I know they hold them for a few weeks. no one knew that she was expecting. I kept an eye on her the lass week and saw that her body was changing. When I knew for sure that is when I let PQ know about her. Thanks for the link

I was at work today and got to work on the dog stray side. It is harder than the adoption side a bit sadder I think. Well today when I was making my rounds I noticed that this boxer mix that I was keeping an eye on was getting bigger and I reported that she was expecting babies.... Well the lady that works in puppy quaratine took her in her room so she will atleast have some peace and quiet to have the babies..... IF she gets the chance to have them. She told me that they may put her down, that she wasnt sure..... That so sucks.... I really wish that I could offer to foster her till she has the babies and they are big enough to be adopetd but I dont have the room. Im in one bed house with no inside doors so no were I could put her for some P&Q...... I also dont know anyone who could do this either seeing as I havent been here very long and the only people that I know are family and coworkes..... THis is making me so sad..... She is a lovely dog....

Glory got a good home. I got to talk with the family that got her and it sounds like a match made in heaven! Yeah for her....

that doesnt look like any tick I have seen. On pages that i have read about tick removal they alwasy say to put it in achocol(sp?) to kill it, maybe that will keep it to get it to the vet.... well bet your pet is feeling lots better :)

they are just as beautiful as I thought they would be! Oh they wont be offende that I said they are beautiful, being boys and all?? maybe I should say handsom LOL :wink: :lol:

oh geesse! that is.... I have never seen one that deep in the skin before....I hope everything comes out clean and pup is doing good!
