  1. congratulations to you and Rocco!!!
  2. Oh my! Im sorry to hear this Some people are SO sick I hope you find out what they are and who is doing this but mostly that your dog stays safe! My girls are good and all but I still worry alot about someone doing something bad like that. In the last town that i lived in someone was going around shoting dogs in their back yard for no reason at all. Several lost a leg but some didnt make it at all. After that I never let my girls out alone.
  3. I think that they are helping. She still stresses a bit when I leave but she seems to calm down sooner and not cry for hours like she was. Just befor I get ready to go I will give her some rescue remedy and put her up. When I get back she seems to be not as upset as she use to get so Im sure the plug in is helping. I hope with time it will help more. Its only been a few days.
  4. I know how hard it is to do that ..... It was soo hard when I had to take sarah in and leave her I was on the edge of my seat till it was time to call and I could go get her.... I hope your time goes quickly, and he is home soon :fadein: I sure miss those little  while they are away!
  5. My Sarah is like that too. Follows me every where and when I sit down she is almost in my lap, curled up in a ball behind my legs. when I take a shower and the door is shut she is on the corner of the bed looking right at the door as if to will it open. It took a bit to get use to but I sure miss her when she is out side and cant do it
  6. I ordered one of the plug in and some rescue remedy i just got it in today so ill let ya know how it works in a few days Thanks again
  7. thanks for your help I had heard of them and wondered how they worked. Your thoughts are much like mine. I had hoped that I was right and not over reacting  Thanks again
  8. I have a boxer/mix that is almost 2yr old. I have had her from about 7wks or so, I found her someone had tossed her out. Ok a little history... when she was little I crate trained her and I did work, mostly a night job so I was home during the day. I left my job about 2 mo. before we were to move so we could get ready and so I could visit my family since we were moving out of state, we have been here now almost 4mo. About a month after we moved sarah just seemd to get really stressed out with vomiting and slightly bloody stool. I took them to the vet and got them an exam and stool check and eveything was good, I dont know what got her so upset other than I had been away for the day. I got a job a few days a go and now sarah is sooo up set I think she is making her self sick. I or my husband come home during the day to let them out. I thought eveyting was ok but I got up this morning and sarah had been sick during the night, both vomit and loose stool. She has not gotten in to anything eveything is put away and when they go out I go out with them (sarah can jump the fence) and when home alone they are in there kennels. I really think that it is because I am gone during the day and when I get home I spend as much time as I can with them. Sarah has always been VERY close to me, she has to have me in her sights or is laying right next to me. I know this will pass but I am worried and not sure what to do to make it a bit less stressful on her. Im sorry this is so long, thanks for any help with this....
  9. I got Morgan almost 6 yrs ago and for the longest (4 1/2) she was the only dog in my home and one day I found Sarah a little 6 week old pup that had been tossed out, anyway I took her home and kept her. Morgan didnt like it one bit. She would growl get up walk away and look like "talk to the hand " kind of thing. It took her over a month to accept that Sarah was staying and longer befor she would play with her. But given time, space and lots of TLC , a year and a half later they get along great, play all the time!
  10. signed I cant belive they are doing that i thought they were endangered or close to it.
