1. I watched it too, and I agree, O'Reilly kept interrupting both women as they were trying to make thier points. Ugh, not a good interview at all in my opinion.
2. Haha I was thinking the same thing K. If you don't like the way a topic is being carried out just skip it, no one's forcing you to read.
3. LOL @ HF. I think we all need a good laugh. And Malamum, thanks for bringing this topic up. I totally agree.
4. FDF, no problem at all! :) Pups I really feel for you and wish you the best in your decision.

R.I.P. Bongo

Awe, I'm sorry to hear that Bongo has passed on. At least now he's free from the plague that is cancer. :( RIP Bongo.
6.
She's part Chow? They are very aggressive and must have training.
I just wanted to comment on this. Chows are typically very stubborn and can turn into very dominate dogs if not properly trained. They are a breed that needs training no matter what, but to say they are all very aggressive? No. Definitely wrong word there. Also, you might want to try NILIF. (Nothing in life is free) Courtnek is the best one to explain that one. But like others have suggested I'd contact a behaviorist right away and see what he/she thinks.
7.
this cracks me up. I dont know how old all of you are, but its a takeoff on "Woodstock"....during the Vietnam war and all the people who were against it gathered at a farm in NY and basically protested the war, thru songs, and petitions, and "sit-ins" at DC...its a major pinpoint in history.
I would hope we all know about Woodstock!
8. I think that's horrible. :-? I don't complain about normal dissections of already dead animals, (sold for the specific purpose of going out to schools to be dissected) but something about that just seems wrong to me. Where did the dog come from?
9. Glad to hear he's back home and safe. :)
10. I've had similar things happen. :x I tell people that my dog is NOT friendly around other dogs, but they just assume that because their dog IS friendly then my dog will be too, despite what I've just told them. :niedowiary: I think I'm just going to start skipping the polite talk and bluntly tell people that my dog will attack their's if they don't keep it away. (In the case that the other dog is off leash) Who knows if even that would get the messege across though.
11.
Talking about stupid people, I was showing my big hot Thoroughbred horse at the state fair one year, and a lady started to push her baby buggy WITH the baby in it underneath my horse! I immediately said "Don't do that! Do you want your kid to get hurt or killed?" And she called ME a bitch!
That's insane. :o Seems like the exact opposite of common sense to me. Geez, some people. Devin wasn't doing anything but sleeping. The mother was definitely in the wrong here. I do think that dogs need to be taken out and solialized, unless they are too dangerous to be controlled. Some people just like to bitch about anything and everything.
12. I'm sorry to hear this Carol. :( Many hugs to you both, I hope Jesse gets well soon.
13. I'll keep Lucky in my thoughts. :calus:
14. I think it's a joke. That's what I've heard before anyway... and I would hope it's true. :o
15. I'm very sorry to hear that. :( Especially that rude vet's reaction! It is sad that she will lose her sight, but dogs don't depend on it nearly as much as we do, and she'll still have a good quality of life without it. Do you think Free will realize when she cannot see and help to guide her? I've seen stories of dogs doing this before, guide dogs for blind dogs... Best wishes.
16. Thanks for the advice. :) I washed it off and there doesn't appear to be anything in her paw, just looks like some of the tough padding was torn away. I'll keep her inside the rest of the day so she doesn't get any dirt inside of it and clean it again in the morning.
17. These people are being absolutely ridiculous. :o You never did anything to them but care and train their dog. What a way to repay you. Best of luck on getting a pup, chocolate BC's are so adorable! :)
18. Quick question; Abby got a small cut on her paw yesterday when she was outside, I'm not sure where it came from. It's a very little circle of ripped skin (not a clean cut like glass might've caused, probably something like a bottle cap) Anyway, since it was so small, I didn't do anything for it yesterday. It didn't seem to bother her much either. But today she has a greater limp so I think it's hurting her. What should I do for it? I don't want it getting infected or anything and I hate to see her limp around. :(
19. I'm so sorry to hear that. :( Best wishes to you both.
20. Thanks so much you guys, it means alot to me.
21. We had to have our kitty put to sleep this morning. :( We got her the same day I was born, so we always said her birthday was the same as mine. She would have been 15 years old some time in July. My dad found her as a teeny baby kitten, when we lived out in the country side. Woods surronded the house, and he heard her mewing and rescued her. She was always a really social cat, and he loved her alot. Last summer she was diagnosed with cancer (I don't know what kind.) They said she had a tumor on her stomach, and she would only get worse. The details are very fuzzy, but I know she was always hungry and thirsty because apparently her body could not absorb the nutrients of the food she was eating. Towards the end she was extremly thin and her coat was all ratty. :( This morning she could not lift her head up. She was still walking around and everything... her head just kind of hung limp, and she couldn't/wouldn't eat. I guess this was part of the cancer's damage. My dad told us to go ahead and have her put down. Her veins were so contracted that they ended up having to put the needle in another leg after the first one failed. By this time she was bleeding everywhere and she started to cry. I felt so bad. :( I could tell she didn't want to die, she had so much spirit left in her, her body was just giving out. I feel horrible about it. I know it was for the best, but it hurts me that she didn't understand what was happening to her, she didn't understand why we killed her. :( RIP Sally. I hope you're happy at the Rainbow Bridge.
22.   The sad thing is people will actually buy this.
23. The harness you posted a pic of isn't meant to stop pulling, as far as I know. They make special no-pull harnesses, that would be labled as so.
24. Cracker used to eat the cheese that we put around the pill, and then spit the pill itself out after we looked away. Abby just eats it right out of my hand. :oink2:
25. Hi Minna! Welcome back, good to see you around again. Sounds like things are going good. :)
