most rescues/shelters (notice i say most) check the dogs for health problems infact it's required by the county that animals are checked at shelters ehen they receive the animal and b4 the animal goes to it's forever home.

no that's not true in all places. i got boonie from teh same people and they didn't test him for anything, nor did they have him updated on any shots...
