courtnek
I have seen that before. It made me cry then, as well as now. Tomorrow is gonna be a hard day for a lot of people. I saw mostly Labs, Goldens, and Shepherds, with a few mixes and such. I always wondered why they didnt use hounds as well. They have some of the best doggie noses there are. I wonder if they just dont do well in situations like this....

Mutt_Lady
What a tearjerker. I especially loved the pictures where the dogs were being petted and kissed, it showed how much their owners and partners appreciated what they were doing. Even the photo where George W. Bush is scratching the dog's chin made me tear up. A very wonderful tribute.

courtnek
agreed. I think I signed a zillion petitions on that incident. *sigh* sometimes, as wrong as it is, we can get past the "boys club" at the Fraternal Order of Police.... ggrrrrr....
__crazy_canine__
Yeah I read about Git too and that was just horrible! Those officers were able to see the vest on him and they still had the nerve to shoot the poor dog so many times!
