Angelboddy
Well, it was hard. But just dropped dongwa off at the vets this morning. :( He is getting neuterd and the rest of his shots. :D Won't be able to pick him up til tomarrow afternoon. :( I hope he will be alright. :( He knew where we were going this morning, and all he did was dig his head into my neck and cry. Poor little guy was shaking when I brought him in there. :( It's going to cost me $40 for the neuter (Which is not bad) But $51 for his second set of shots and the rabies! :o Let's just pray that Dongwa will be alright there.

Sanvean
Awww...it is SO hard to leave your baby at the vet's, isn't it! Don't worry about him a bit...neutering is a very simple procedure.
Angelboddy
Thanks Sheltie , Sanvean , K. :buzi: I just felt so bad dropping him off there. I wonder what he was thinking, when I left him. I know I should not worry............but thats my little baby boy they are taking care of. :( I feel a little better though. It just feels so weird to not have him laying on my lap while I type. :o And to not see this little streak of a fur-ball going past me.
Angelboddy
Ok, I called the vet acouple of hours ago to check on Dongwa. :D I know...........I am a very nerves momma. But I called and a guy answered and I asked how Dongwa was doing. He says, "Oh, you mean that cute, little simease kitty!" And he just go on and on about how everyone loves him and had to play with him before the neuter. So I wait for him to finish all about how cute Dongwa is, and then ask, "So is he ok though?" "Oh, yes! The little guy is doing great." I get to go pick him up tomarrow at 11:00am. :D I miss the little guy. :( But at least I feel better knowing that he is doing great.

imported_Kat
Aww glad to hear hes doing fine  its never easy walking out through the door and leaving your precious baby to someone else. I know how owners feel thats why in the practice where I work I try to reassure owners as much as possible and we as staff take a very compassionate approach with furbabes, to reassure them as well as their parents! Crested
But see, you guys in the good US of A are just crazy! ;) See... Here in Finland many vets let you be IN the operation room while the operation is done, and then when it's finished you can just go and pick your sleeping baby up, put her in your car and after paying the bill go home. That's what happend to Ben and I wouldn't agreed on "fixing" him if I wouldn't have been able to do that. Yes he was painfull a couple days afterwards, but I called the vet, she called the pharmacy, I went to the pharmacy and got painkillers for him. I gave him
