1. my first reaction: Kelpie but more likely a mix of border collie and a shepherd of some kind.
2. I have another reason to be a not-so-big fan of that website now. There's a ton of those designer breeds on there.
3. i've had that happen a few times before. it's like they go into relapse! good luck with pooh bear. and i'm glad you got maya back! :)
4. Bloodhound mixed with Basset Hound? maybe? no point in it. :x
5. Nara is beautiful! very nice pup edited cus i hit the wrong smiley, haha
6. :o i have three kids, i make more koolaid than i care to even talk about.
7. yep, i am officially addicted to dogomania. the pawprints cannot tell a lie. you all should be ashamed of yourselves!!! 8) okay let's party :drinking: in other news... the dogs are watching the new fishpond nervously after one of my younger wrinklies fell in earlier. :-? there's nothing more angry than a wet Pei.
8. i think i want that taped to my desk!
9. glad to hear Kat is fitting in nicely!!! keep us up to date! and good luck with going to the doggie park. and hopefully Lucky will befriend Kat more as time goes on. hopefully.
10. GOOD JOB BAILEY!!! AND BAILEY'S MOM TOO!!! time to celebrate right? :drinking:
11. I breed Peis, and rarely have problems with mine. Peis were used for fighting, but they were bred for other purposes. Namely, hunting and guarding, but they were also used for herding in some areas. my advice with Peis is socialization and training. your aunt just has undersocialized dogs that needed to be trained better as younger dogs. that is, assuming there is nothing mentally wrong with the dogs, which i highly doubt.
12. actually, i did pay to have that done!! a friend of mine does some woodburning, beautiful thing. give it a shot, im SURE people would be willing to pay that price. it's not steep at all. ooh, and you'll have to share, hehe. i love looking at them.
13. well. dont tell my shar peis i told you this but.. i think the cutest breed is either a Finnish Lapphund or Swedish Lapphund. perhaps also a Finnish Spitz. i think most spitz breeds are just adorable though, especially when they're young pups.
14. awwww. GORGEOUS pup. and he is an adorable little boy. the house of peis wishes you good luck. we're thinking of adopting a rescue dog as well. it's soo tempting. something other than a pei. i was thinking about a Weimaraner.
15. :o http://www.dogster.com/clsfds/?breed=19&category=24&came_from=category&display=ads maybe im over reacting?
16. i want to touch him. he looks friendly. i think ill keep that picture in my favorites, when i need a good laugh. or just feel like going awww.
17. i really like Tito the chihuahua from Oliver and Company. kids love that movie.
18. american mastiffs (from my reading) are crossed between english mastiffs and anatolian shepherds. they added anatolians to give the dog a dry mouth. and i think they mean alapaha, not a lapahoola. manye of those dogs ill consider of a pit bull type. but..chow chow?! SHAR PEIS?!?! NOOO. AKITAS???? NOOOO!!! that's a bit over the top. i dont even consider Tosa Inus a type of pit bull breed.
19. he is precious!!! i hope he finds a good home.
20. no worries. you did not confuse anyone. i think candy just wanted to sound smart. but now you know! they are a nice little breed aren't they? :)
21. oh to be able to know it all. what's sad is that poor dog having to live with the likes of an owner like that. :( it's sad that she thinks dogs are something you can just have and have and have and not be worried about hurting. as a breeder i was offended by what she said. so, toodleloo candypoo. maybe that yorkie will be able to escape!
