1. K- you don't know me and you need to get off your high horse and stop criticizing me. For those that have told me to "watch myself" you are immature and ridiculous. I had trouble with most of you from the start and should have learned my lesson then. Now I have and I won't continue to wate my time trying to prove myself or my love of dogs to you. the majority of you are rude and not worth the time. For those that have been friendly and offered help...thank you for everything and for not judging me or acting like you know me jsut from some board. I hope the rest of you grow up someday soon.
2. K - That's wonderful that both of your dogs are healthy. I truly hope they both stay that way. I'm not saying that there aren't exceptions. English Bulldogs are great dogs and I plan on having one or two eventually. But, are you honestly trying to tell me that as a breed they aren't known for their health problems? I mean don't get me wrong, like I said I love the dogs and they are probably the prettiest dogs I have ever seen (although a lot of people would disagree with me on that.) I wish I could get one now...then I wouldn't even be considering a Titan Bulldogge. Unfourtunately, that just isn't possible for me right now. Like I said though, I mean no offense on your two perfect bulldogs I only hope I can be so lucky. There is however no reason to make smart comments and try to put words in my mouth. It is really uncalled for.
3. Yes, I have been to all those links that Mutts4Me posted. I too agree that there are a lot of bully breeds being made right now. And I totally agree with the fact that there are some very corrupt breeders out there. I have come in contact with a few of them personally when looking for my last dog. THAT IS WHY I AM STILL WRITING ON HERE AND THAT IS WHY I HAVE NOT JUST GONE OUT AND BOUGHT THE DOG I WANT. I am DOING MY RESEARCH and finding out the information that is important. I also understand that it takes longer than 10 years to really make and establish a good breed. The breed I am looking into is not done. The creator, Nino, doesn't jsut offer them to anyone. The few people who know about the dog and that are intrested have to prove to him that they would give the dog a good home and they have to be willing to help in the continued development of the breed. He is not done with his research and would not tell you that he has created a perfect breed. He is not ready to commercialze them and make them mainstream. However I think people fail to realize that amongst the many corrupt breeders there are a few good guys who love their animals and want to make a positive impact on the dog world. A breeder and his team who are creating a breed cannot possibly keep all the dogs that they breed and work with on their properties for the many years it takes to get this kind of thing right. They need to find good people to provide good homes for the dogs while they continue to do their research and improve their breed. I understand that it will take time to finsh what he has started and that no dog will be perfect health wise. I also do not believe that you could ever have a bully breed that is even close to perfect with these issues. Because of the characteristics they have they will always be prone to certain problems. I do however believe that over time it is possible to weed out some of the issues and I am intrested in being a part of this. I am intrested in owning one of the dogs at the point they are at now. I do want to be careful though and not end up on the wrong end of a bad deal. I understand that it will be difficult but what I am trying to prove to all of you is that I am in it for the long haul and I will be sure of what I am doing before I do it.
4.

Also, I never said I would find a dog without health problems. Every dog regardless of breed or lineage will eventually have some type of health problem. What I am trying to avoid is the almost guaranteed problems that arise in English Bulldogs.
Oh now hold your foot up a minute there girl...what exactly are you trying to imply?
I'm not trying to imply anything. I was however saying that a lot of english bulldogs are prone (and you can almost guarantee that you're not going to be lucky enough to get the exception) to losts of health problems. For example, a lot of english bulldog lovers want solid white bulldogs, they don't realize that they are considered albino and have a lot of problems. A good friend of mine has spent over $40,000 on their solid white english bulldog's health issues. That doesn't include all the other things they've spent money on because of the dog (for example hardwood floors.) Like many dogs buford, their bulldog has severe allergies, even to grass and is constantly taking steroids. If this was the only problem it wouldn't be a big deal. It's when you add it to everything else that you start having problems. Luckily, Buford is a member of their family and they can afford to give him anything he needs. I eventually want an english bulldog as well. In the mean time however I AM DOING MY RESEARCH and LOOKING INTO a dog that I am intrested in. I AM NOT implying anything though. I stated everything I had to say very clearly.
5. Sounds like you are really interested in doing your research. Welcome to the board! I'm a Jessi too, only with no e.
Thanks for noticing! I really am. I really don't want to support the "breeders" who are just out for money. And I of course don't want to spend all that money for something that isn't a "good" dog. I have good intentions, and I want to go about it the right way, I just disagree with some of the people on the board that won't see that.
6.
That would be wonderful! When you get them just post them or PM me and I'll be thrilled to help :-)
Ok Thanks! It'll probably be a couple days until I can really get around to it but I'll let you know when I get them! Thanks Again...
7. If I get some answers to these questions, would you be able to let me know if they are appropriate. I don't know a lot about some of those and would like to tap into your knowledge if that's ok.
8.
You guys do realize that by what youre doing, hes just going to ignore you all and get one anyway, right? Why dont you all try to educate him? :-? I stand behind you all 100%, but thats only because I know what everyone here already knows, this guy doesnt. I get frustrated too, but its not helping anything.
Thank you so much. I do plan on getting one regardless of what people on here say because like they keep telling me to do.. i get my information from more than one source. I also get very frustrated because I don't think anyone is really reading what I write. Everyone on here is so preoccupied with fussing at me for wanting a certain dog that they have failed to offer the good advice I know that they all have. ( By the way.. I am female, not that it really matters I just have one of those names :D )
9. I have a few things to clear up for all the people who act like they know everything about dogs and the many breeds and who fail to realize that they are not nearly as intelligent as they try and portray... I've never said that there is ANYTHING wrong with getting a dog from a shelter. Unfourtunatley I live in a small town with few choices in the shelter and I've looked elsewhere in the past. I do own a mutt, as a matter of fact she is a border collie mix and she too is a great dog. I also want a certain breed of dog this time and DO NOT WANT just any dog from a shelter. AGAIN, let me clarify that I do not think there is anything wrong with dogs in shelters, this time it just isn't for me. As for the comment...what will I do with it when I can no longer take care of it.... Well what are you going to do with your dog when you can't take care of it? I don't know. Maybe I'll leave my babies to a family member. My dogs are my children and I'm sure anyone in my life would be happy to have them. Your comment has nothing to do with anything so from now on just keep irrelevant questions to yourself. You have only proved that there is such a thing as a stupid question... Also, I never said I would find a dog without health problems. Every dog regardless of breed or lineage will eventually have some type of health problem. What I am trying to avoid is the almost guaranteed problems that arise in English Bulldogs. I do my research and that is one of the reasons I posted on this website. I was hoping to receive invaluable information and help in making sure to avoid the breeders who have given a bad name to bully breeds. I too agree that they are manipulative and out to make money instead of providing quality dogs. Dogbreedinfo is not my only source. I did see a dog I was intrested in there but I did not accept their information as definitive and 110% correct. Again, this is why I posted here so that I could get a variety of information. I am not going to just any breeder, I have only been in serious contact with Nino, the original creator and breeder of the Titan Bulldogge. And not that any of you care, but if it eases your mind at all... He is very careful with who he allows to breed his dogs and who he allows to purchase them. He is aware of the problems that can arise and knows that there are people who want to use his dogs for the wrong reasons. To be honest I think there are only something like 4 breeders total right now. And finally, his breed was not created over night. He took time and also did his research. What you fail to realize is that there are good apples out there. It is by no means easy to find them, because unfourtunately a few bad apples have ruined the bunch, but the search and research is very much worth the effort. I'm sure Nino would be willing to talk to any of you to let you know about what he does and why. I am nervous however to put his email on here because of the way I'm sure some of you will treat him. I have not gotten any respect as a fellow dog lover on this site and I would not intentionally put anyone else through it. You can however view his website and I would be happy to give that information to any of you who are intrested.
10. Thank You to those of you who are honestly trying to help me. For the rest of you... I made this post with the hopes of finding the dog I want. Maybe there are "too many bully breeds" but the bulldog is a beautiful dog with health problems that keep some fans from owning one. While some people take it to the extreme, it is nice that there are options out there. I happen to own one "glorified mutt" as it is and he is the best dog I have ever owned. I fell in love with the titan bulldogge the first time I saw a picture and I see no problem with wanting to own one. You don't see me criticizing anything about your choice in dogs and if you had posted what I did I would have honestly tried to help.
11. yes i have searched all over the internet. if you wanna see some pictures a good web site is http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/titanbulldogge.htm but you can also search the breed name and find a couple other sites. most of the pictures are of the same dog though and there isn't a place that i've been able to find that gives breeder information. i have found a couple other pictures of other dogs but they are few and far between.
12. Does anyone know where to find a breeder for Titan Bulldogges aka Perro Buldoge Titan? I am really intrested in the dog but I cannot find a breeder.
