The only Nutro product that I have used (and if I had to go back to Nutro, I would use only this and nothing else) was the Nutro Natural Choice Chicken and Oatmeal. No corn, wheat, soy, or by products. But right now, the kitties are on Solid Gold and the dogs are on Canidae.

Mine wait until I'm on the phone. So I have to stop mid sentence and yell, "HEEEEEEEEEY!!!!" The person on the other line just loves it.

R2.....I believe the citronella was the first one used on both dogs.

Can you smear peanut butter on the fridge? Or spray canned cheese? I did shots for our cat (luckily, he's doing wonderful now and doesn't ned them anymore). But Ace was a little easier to handle, I imagine. One thing I did find out was that he HATED the shots directly from the fridge. I'm assuming you keep the vials refridgerated, right? Well, when I would draw them up and give them to him right out of the fridge, he would hiss and spit at me. Then, I started to let them sit for about 45 minutes and he was fine. I just don't think he liked them cold at all. That might be an issue as well....... Have you ever had your veins flushed after giving blood? It's not pleasant because it's COLD!! LOL

Guess some people have a ton of time on their hands when they are backyard breeders and don't give a shyt about their dogs and 12 litters per year. I'd have a ton of time too if all my dogs were outside in kennels with no human interaction. How 'bout you all?

Just direct Carson away from him. If need be, tether him to you. It is NOT her Grandfather's fault. So for everyone saying nasty things about him, take the time to think that it sounds like he is either in the begining stages of Alzheimer's or Dementia. If you do not know what that does to a person, then actucally, I'm glad that you don't have to witness it. But it will take the most intellegent person you know and turn him into a three year old before your eyes. Go ahead folks.....get pissed at me if you want to....but until you've had to deal personally with a disease like this and what it does to someone, you'll never understand.

I also agree that there are responsible breeders. A few members of Crest-Care are. And that is how it should be. In fact, BREEDERS started Crest-Care, Inc. And for those of you who don't know, that is the nationwide rescue group for Chinese Cresteds. So yes, they are not only titling their dogs in conformation, but giving back to the breed by opening their homes and hearts and [b]wallets [/b]to Chinese Cresteds in need.

The thing with the pinch collars is that you do not snap them. The dog pulls and self corrects......you do not do the work. The dog does. They are not cruel. They are not inhumane. Someone that has a dog pulling on a flat buckle collar, IMO, is being much more inhumane to their dogs. Those dogs you can hear gasping and choking. And then they look at someone who is using a prong collar like they are ending the world for their dog. :roll:

I'll chime in with one more tip. Make sure, if you want to verbally tell Rory to get off you, to use the command 'OFF'. OFF in my house means get off from whatever you happen to be on (chair, house, person, counter) right now. DOWN means lay down where you are standing right now. If you use DOWN to mean get off, and DOWN when you want the dog to lay down......confusion starts.

Ummm.....you don't get a warning. The dog gets BLOW OUT diahrea. There's your warning! We went through this with the GSDs. It was pretty bad. Our white one lost 10 pounds in a week.

I was going to say that......or does it seem to hurt him? He could have nicked himself and gotten something (like a piece of food) lodged in there and it might have abcessed. Try giving him a little bennedryl to see if it goes down. Dogs are always biting at bees and such!

This lady is crazy. All she does is drag that poor poor dog around and show him off like some freak. She doesn't take care of his skin at all...... He's 14 years old for doG's sake......let it go you nasty person! Sorry.....but it really ticks me off.....
