5. Here are some really crappy pictures of my two APBT's. Baby Justice is 19 months old (this picture is pretty old though) Munkee will be 5 this Halloween Munkee and his kitty Justice saying HI!! 6. Why are you thinking about breeding your dog? Have you health tested her? How were her hips? Her heart? How is her temperment? Do you show her? Weight pull? What is her registry? Have you looked at the thousands of pit bulls right now on Petfinder? Have you gone to your local shelter & looked into the eyes of the pit bulls that are already on this earth looking for homes? How long have you owned pit bulls? How many do you have? I'm not being rude, as an APBT owner for many many years I am curious about what makes you think you need to breed. There are too many as it is, my breed is being banned all over the world and I want to know why any one would want to add to the problems we are facing. Debby
7.
I though I had heard every misconception about pits that there could be. -Locking Jaws -people agressive. But look what I found on a differnt forum! "The Petfinder website has a library. Many different breeds of dogs can be looked up. Having been involved with animal rescue locally I wondered about the Pit Bulls. They were originally bred to be cattle dogs. To be able to herd cattle they had to have powerful jaws to be able to 'nip' the cattle hard enough to get their attention. While breeding for these traits they accidentally bred out or mutated the gene that tells the dog when to nip, when to bite, and when to stop. This also mutated or triggered the aggressive gene. The problem is not all Pit Bulls have these genes. However, for the time being they do not have a really good way of finding out which dogs have the genes and which dogs don't. I hope explained this correctly. " :o :o :o :o
That is one of the dumbest things I have heard in a while! Debby
8. Best of luck to you!! Seperating dogs can be a pain at first but you WILL get used to it & it will become routine, even for the dogs. And no matter WHAT a certain TROLL likes to say, your dogs will NOT be miserable. Debby
9. I'm glad it is something that can be controlled ! Yay for Taurus! Debby
10. Don't know why you left but welcome back!! And Court it right! Troll sniping can be FUN!!!! :drinking: :drinking: Debby
11. That's great!! I am SOOOO jealous of talented people! Debby
12. I feed mine Wellness, Munkee has allergies so he gets the stinky Fish & Potato & the other two get the Super 5 Mix. They LOVE it & it has made a 100% difference in their coats! The poop clean up is a breeze too. Debby
13. I had no idea Taurus was under the weather. I hope it turns out to be nothing & he feels better soon! Debby
14. She's adorable & your little boy looks like he is in love!! Debby
15. The look on his face is PRICELESS!! I LOVE how dogs do something stupid then look at you like "why did I try that??"  Debby
16.
This is sad, and was so easy to prevent. So many people grow up with the image of Lassie in their heads that they really don't use common sense when it comes to children and pets. This is very, very tragic. :(
So very very true. Debby
17. I don't know much about Beagles but it sounds like you are a wonderful home for a puppy! If I were you I would research the breed so you know what to expect behaviour wise. Your used to Boxers and Beagles might be a whole different story. I'm sorry about your Boxer and I totally understand wanting another dog so soon. Life without a dog sux. Debby
18. Flax seed oil!! I was trying to think of that!! I have heard GREAT things about it & will probably try it once they finish the Olive oil I have. Debby
19. I usually just pour a little on their food, it works out to a couple of tablespoons just guessing! They LOVE it! Debby
20. I put Olive oil in my dogs food (pit bulls tend to have dry skin) a couple of times a week & it has really improved their coats. Any kind of oil would probably be helpful, I hear fish oil is prefered but I haven't used it. Debby
21.

LOL - my dog too feels "All Stuffies Must Die!" but has never had a problem distinguishing them from children. :D
 guilty here also!!! No stuffed animal has ever lasted longer then 5 mins in my house...
Here too! I bought a stuffed bear for a friend of mine who is having a baby. I took it out of the bag & laid it on my bed with the rest of the stuff I bought her. Munkee walked over, looked at everything, grabbed the bear & took off!! He brought it back just a couple of minutes later-headless. Debby
22. I'm short on time but one thing that really sticks out in MY mind is Beau the black cocker on her HBO special Shelter Dogs. She poked & prodded the poor baby with the plastic hand until it finally reacted to it. She deemed him horribly aggressive & took him to be PTS. AFTER she stopped at McDonald's for a last meal of chicken nuggets. WHICH she HAND FED him in the vet's office before he was killed. If he was so aggressive how in the hell was she able to hand feed him??? Debby
