Ok I'll admit picturing it is funny. :lol: I was planning to try courtnek's idea tonight, but I dug up and old stuffed bear of mine instead and while my mom fed them dinner made the switch. She looked at it for a while, jumped and bit it a few times, then gave up and curled up with it for a nap (Yay!). I'll probably let her use the other one in the day, and the noiseless one at night. I think the most annoying thing was I couldn't identify the tune! It was stuck in my head and I couldn't place where I heard it before. Then my mom walks by humming it so I had to ask her what it is. Its rock-a-bye baby!(rock-a-bye baby, on the treetops, when the wind blows the cradle will rock?) Suddenly its not quite as annoying now that I know where its from. :lol:

How dumb! The whole point of walking your dog is to WALK your dog! I also hate it when I see people yapping away on cell phones while their dogs cr*p all over and attack other dogs. Why bring them to the park to not even pay attention!! :x

Don't judge all obedience classes because one trainer did not know what she was doing. Find a good trainer who uses positive method's instead of yanking and hurting the dog.

I bought this cute little stuffed bear toy for Chaos a few days ago and she loved it. Right away she picked it up and hasen't let it out of her sight since. Well it plays this cute little tune and she uses her paws to set it off by jumping on it with her front paws. But it's been 4 days and I'm going nuts! She somehow gets it to play over and over and over! I don't mind it so much in the day, but she brings it to my bed at night and for at least half an hour continues playing with it and if I kick her out she cries at the door cause she loves sleeping on my bed. I did take it away, but she knew where I put it and camped out at that spot even risisting a treat! :o I finally broke down and gave it back but I'm gonna go crazy! Is there a way I can get her to leave it alone just for a little while? Or am I doomed not to sleep till the batteries run out?

I get asked the breeding question A LOT. "oh the puppies would be so cute! you could sell them to petshops! :evil: Why is it as soon as people find you have a male and female dog you HAVE to breed them?! Lucky's been mistaken for a golden and a lab. Hes long haired and black and white. :roll: People always assume that Chaos is a lab puppy cause she's a small black dog. No matter how much I argue that she's over a year and probably has no lab in her whatsoever they don't believe me. Or they think she's a rare "mini- lab" So I should breed her and make money. I got asked ast week if Riley was a Bernese Mountain Dog. He is tricolored, but he's 45 lbs and one of his ears sticks straight up. He's definately built like a border collie but this person kept insisting that she had seen bernese before and he was definatly one. So apparently without knowing it my dogs have change into a black golden retriever and/or a long haired lab, a mini-lab and a bernese mountain dog! :roll:

Bit off topic but has anyone ever read the ingredients on Greenies? I was gonna get a big box when my dad happened to read the ingredients and said that one of the chemicals in it he uses to wash his car. :o

Looks like a very good breeder to me. I would ask about is health tests/OFA ratings which I didnt see on the site, but dosen't mean that the breeder dosen't do them. Good luck on finding a puppy!

He's beautiful! I really like Drake but it sounds a lot like Drey dosen't it? They might get confused. Out of the others I really like Diego, Diablo and Damien. Whatever you decide we must have pics! (Which you probably know already) :wink:

I remember one time we were at my aunt and uncle's for Thanksgiving and we were feeding Lucky so my uncle went outside and added a few pieces of turkey to his dinner and Lucky just sat there drooling. Well my uncle thought that was weird so came in and had to ask "Whats wrong with your dog he dosen't like turkey?" And I just laughed and stuck my head out to poor Luck who now had a puddle by his paws and told him it was okay. I just thought it was normal to teach them to wait before, but my uncle who's had many dogs in the past looked amazed. Good for you for teaching that it might come in handy some day.

That's it for me.[/quote] Yeah I heard about this though it only happened at Riverdale park. Some idiot put pesticide in hot dogs. How many dogs will resist a hot dog? I think about 14 dogs and 4 kids got sick, though only 1 dog died. Yesterday at the park (not Riverdale) Chaos picked up a huge piece of bread and I freaked out not knowing what could have been in it. I did get it from her, but was really worried all night checking on her every 5 mins to make sure she was fine. Stupid people putting bread in a dog park for birds and squirrels. :roll:

Huh my post disapeared and SRC's did too cause I quoted a bit of it... :hmmmm: It said somthing along the lines of how people couldn't afford to pay for show breeders dogs and would be forced to go to a pet shop. Around here pet shop Dobies are $1000-$1500 much more then a show breeder would charge for a pet quality pup. So where would they go? To BYB's like (dare I say it?) you. You might take good care of your pets, but they are just that, pets. You breed cause you enjoy it well thats not good enough. If you truely want to breed and better the breed get a dog from a good breeder, show or title it in some way, do the nessesary health tests, then consiter breeding your dog. Don't breed because you happen to have two dogs. No matter how well taken care of your dogs are, or how little money you make, you are still a BYB in my eyes. And for goodness sake give your bitch time to be a dog and enjoy life without constantly having puppies. 5 litters in 4 years is too many.

I do apologize if it sounded like I blamed you for the situation whichI didn't. I'm glad its sorted out you did the right thing taking her to the vets, I'm sure shes finally romping around happy and free. :angel:
