Hi Angelboddy thanks for your response ! It was horrible last night I waited nearly an hour and no-one answered :( The bumps have pretty much gone this morning but I am still baffled as to what caused them !! He is on Advantix so he shouldn't get bitten by mosquito's because it has a repellent in it :-? The only ants we have here is the regular little black ones and they don't bite do they ?

Ok well now I have to go to bed :(

Unfortunately there a quite a few of these kinds of people about in every type of show be it breed,obedience or even novelty classes it happens everywhere you just have to let it go over your head and if you feel that uncomfortable use the door !!!! You mustn't let these people upset you they are not REAL dog lovers.

Ok well just like to pick your brains for a mo. There are bumps appearing as I type all over Rio's muzzle and now spreading to the top of his head,he seems fine in himself and I have a friend who's Dalmatian has allergies and it has happened to him before but as far as I know he doesn't have any allergies. Thoughts please ASAP. It's not bothering him in fact he's got fed up of waiting for me and gone up to bed !!!

There have also been cases of this from bottled beer and alcho-pops from pubs and clubs. They store the drinks in the cellar and that's where it gets contaminated. EW!!!

I haven't missed you at all !!!! Well she was only here last night :lol: What she hasn't told you all is that she is training to be a dog groomer and loving every minute !!! The teenage months are the hardest,you are right it is a difficult age to train :-?

I think we all know that breeding licensing laws are the best way forward but I doubt that it will ever happen because of all the hassle it would cause the authorities :roll: I know in Germany they are a lot stricter and only temperament and health (hips etc) dogs can be licensed to breed from, if they can do it why can't everyone else :-?

I would definately go to a new vet ! My vet went through all the care stuff with me when I first took mine,he was brilliant he even advised on not over exercising Rio because he was a big puppy,most vets do a very thorough examination too I was with my vet for about half an hour at least on my first visit. The itching is a little worrying though your puppy could have an allergy that could be what's triggered the ear problem too,quite often the two go hand in hand.......get a new vet :-?

Well the kids still haven't noticed :-? I'll get years of amunition out of this one !
