1. If it's a new baby (stuffed toy) then they love to get new ones but when I'm using tuggies for training they like their own.
2. Try not to worry Julie :( I know it's hard but it's only a few hours she will be fine, you have to keep busy will you have someone with you ?
3. If you want to chat on msn I am [email protected]
4. Oh sweetheart I'm so terribly sorry :( A chap who I'm on another list with had a similar thing happen to him,he had 4 rotties and 3 of them mauled the 4th one to death. We can never know exactly what a dog is thinking and no dog can ever be trusted 100% however well you train and socialise it :( This could have happened to anyone of us so don't blame yourself hun what's done is done :( Thoughts and prayers with you :(
5. Oh sweetie you must be feeling horrible :( There was really nothing more you could do but I know if you're anything like me this will haunt you for ages :( Don't be angry at animal control (although he does sound like a complete jerk) be angry at the ex-owners who didn't care enough to keep him safe  Actually be angry at both, you will get it out of your system quicker  Do they always euthanase the animals ? Could you ring later to see how he is getting on ?
6.
if you have to ask, you shouldn't be breeding
Exactly what I was going to say.
7. Sounds like fun for you
8. She is a little sweatheart crested :) Can you take her out yet ?
9. My 2 have tha plain old plastic ones which I fill up with old blankets I like them cos you can just change the bedding over from time to time. They were both cheap too
10. I keep mine in bins in the shed. Glad he is ok DP.
11. Congratulations Aroura he is a lucky boy to have you  PICTURES !!!!!!!!!!!!
12. Laurel is a smart cookie  You'll have to watch this girl :)
13. Liquid washing detergent like you would use in your washing machine
14. I always used biological washing detergent,it has to be biological to zap those enzymes !!! :)
15. I agree with the pack reasons, very convincing. :) But the sure fire way is to take her to the shelter and let her choose ! I love having 2 I couldn't imagine just having one now,I would hate to leave a dog on it's own :(
16. Mei-Mei is right :) I have done this with my 2 since they were pups.
17. Rest in peace Poppy :(
18. Hf you can't help what happened its gone now :-? that woman will no doubt be spouting about this for the next few days and then all will be forgotten. I always clip my dogs on their leads when another approaches but I often feel bad when its a dobie or a rottie I feel like I want to tell the owner it's not because of their breed but because Rio is nervous.
19.
We usse a shampooer to get up her smells and a scent-remover whenever she goes.. But it's kind of hard when you have 2 un-litter trained ferrets (that she loves to chase, but cant catch)
I think this is the key Aonir :-? If she can smell ferret wee she may try to cover it with her own smell or it may just make her think it's ok for her to do it cos the ferrets do.
20. Poor Zaphod :( Wasn't he a good boy though ! It's funny but Rio is a terribly nervous dog but when I take him to the vets he jumps up at the reception desk and wags his tail waiting for a stroke !! He isn't as calm when we get in to the vet though :-? Glad he is ok
21. Oh how worrying for you :( I hope they catch these evil SOB's
22. He is beautiful ! I would start NILIF now, most dogs are happier with consistency and firmness, they like to know where they stand with you. Good luck he looks like a real honey !
23. Excellent post Victor !!!! I can't argue with that :)
24. Oh Mouse I can hardly see the keys  It's so unfair isn't it they just don't live long enough  You are doing what's right for her though, give her lots and lots of cuddles tomorrow (extra ones from us). She has had a wonderful life with you,and I know she will leave a huge hole in your heart. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow
25. There's no way Devin should be put to sleep it was an unfortunate incident which hopefully your sister has learnt from :-? When Rio had his infected paw one of my kids fell on him when he was asleep and couldn't get off him and he snapped and it caught Joe on the face, not badly but enough to break the skin. I think EVERY dog has it's breaking point,EVERY dog would bite if you pressed the wrong buttons,in the incident with Rio he was sleeping,so it must have frightened him,add that to the pain from his paw and I just couldn't blame him. Not every bite incident is cut and dried, how often do we see on shows such as Animal precinct seemingly vicious dogs who end up making wonderful pets as their initial aggressiveness was caused by fear or pain.
