1. I vote for you, Dog Lover! I love to see this guy flying off and hit a tree 5 meter in front of him and get really smashed   :B-fly:
2. Lycopodium is a remedy of homeopathy. http://www.homeoint.org/books/boericmm/l/lyc.htm Canidae is a brand of dog food and I feed to my own dogs. I cannot say it is the best as I also like Innova and Wellness. As for homeopathy (I know some of you don't believe it works), I also have success of it with Blondie's itchy allergic-like problem (while the vet can only prescribe antibiotics and antihistamine). As long as it cures my pets' problem, I am very very happy ... besides it saves my LOTS of vet-visitng costs.
3. The story is: I am babysitting two dogs of my friend who is in Hawaii for vacation. One of his dog, a mini schnauzer, keeps licking his a spot on his left front leg and the skin is moist and RED, no hair seems on the skin anymore. The skin looks a bit swollen than the rest. I searched the internet and found his situation fits "Acral Lick Granulomas" well. Dawn (a guy from Pets4homeopathy forum) taught me to make Rosemary infusion. Also, I gave this dog Lycoposium 30C and feed him Canidae (he was on Iams). It was only last Thurs I posted a message asking for help... This dog's skin has been improved on a DAILY basis! Every morning I can see the "red hot moist swollen" area shrink and become dry. Yesterday I could see hair regrow on the skin. Today the area, much smaller, look like pinky but with more hair on it. The area is dry, and I very seldom see this dog lick the area anymore. I am very very happy! :D :D :D Why I choose Lyc for him is (1) he is a very mama's boy- don't want to be alone, look sad and sensitive, (2) I guess, with IAMS, his is malnourished, (3) easy panting, (4) skin problem, Carcinoma? I am new to homeopathy, not to mention for pets. My pick might be useless... it may be Dawn's infusion cures the dog ... may be the better food... But I am surprised at the SPEED of the improvement of the skin! Considering thepetcenter.com says ..."Lick Granulomas... A Dermatology Nightmare"!
4. Most of the time... human illness might be curable... but never human "stupid" syndrome. Especially when most stupids think "I know better than you ..." :(
5. Just received a remider call from Wolfie's vet asking to bring her in for a "boost". However, I have read many articles against this "annual boost" and I am really concerned. Geeeeze.... someone really take making money very seriously by whatever means! I remember an article on MSNBC about interviewing a guy from a BIG pharm. company admitting this company pushed them hard to sale an epilepsy drug to "off-lable" use and misled doctors to prescribe this drug to whatever patients they have. Now this "annual boost" thing seems to me another big scam :( x However, the Texas law require the annual rabies vaccination, but I am not sure if the boost thing is required for other vacinnations as well. Just want to ask arounf here: do you bring your pets annually got boost shots? We live in a scam-filled world... feel kind of tired...
6. GREAT NEWS.... finally ... need more of this kind ....
7. I am very veery happy to learn the survive of the dog... but, I am totally SHOCKED to also learn Gas Chamber is used to put down dogs in 2003 USA !!! Utterly BARBARIC !
8. good dog or bad dog... I am much more afraid of those crazy-driving-cause-my-SUV-is-BIGGER-than-yours texans than I would be afraid of meeting a PB on the street. In fact, PB are so rare to find.... one meet a PB once in petsmart and he was sweet sweet.
9. One of my wife's best gorlfriend recently got married. And they (the guy's WHOLE family) mived into a new house. They have a Pekingese. because of they don't want the dog to make dirty to the new big house, the Pekingese is kept OUTSIDE IN HOUSTON TX allday everyday!!! What the :bad-words: people they should try to wear a fur coat to stand in Houston in summer outside for 5 minutes, and they can immediately know they are booked in hell right away. I am trying to pursuade my wife to talk to her girlfriend to give this dog to us and we can always find her a good home. My wife doesn't want to hurt her friend's feeling... so the negotiation going on.... Sometimes, I really hate people. The Pekingese is such a sweet, she always STANDs to greet people.
10. Teacup puppies! D**n disgusting and cruel! :o :o :o I heard of this thing going on in Japan several years ago... now it is official on the internet! After super mini mobilephone and PDA and laptop and whatever... hard to believe they are creating supermini canine? This is a disgusting "materilized" world.
11. You did a wonderful thing to save his life! :kciuki:
12. Just my 2 cents... I heard that food quality affects the dog's "smell", not to mention the allergy or chemicals from the low quality foods. So what kind of fodd (brand?) you feed to your dog? I have to admit... my nose has got so used to doggy smell since my family got me the first dog when I wasn in elementary school. If there is not enough dog-smell molecues in the air, I don't feel right at home
13. Wooo.... breathtaking picture! meehs your dogs are SOOOO adorable!
14. Hi Angelboddy, don't worry about this... as long as her skin problem improved. According to a recent book I read, you need to stay cool first. It's like playing a mind game. If you chase her, she would escape farther away. If you try to ignore her, not long she will try to come to you asking for petting. Then you just give her a warm petting, not the hot-and-spicy one deep in your mind want to give  Starting from there, gradually improve the intimacy with her. Ha Ha, I know it's hard to even try to "ignore" or play "cool" to your dog. Never tried or be able to try myself. But please let me know if this really works!
15. Oh! Can you please take a picture of Cody in his vest? I mean, after you fix your camera's problem  It would be so great to try bringing my dogs to malls with me!
