I have lost a few family dogs in my life my grandmothers dog Shady an over grown poodle would run around in circles in front of me when I visited, Kerry a springer spanial liver and white my mums dog he hated to to clean loved rolling in mud ect. my sisters dog a golden called Sandy they all died at an old age. We lost Alice a black s/pei nearly 2 years ago she died very early at 4 years with kidney failure that was deverstating I will never forget any of them

the pet passport scheme- I think vets do this the dog has to pass health checkes and be mirco-chipped Are there no breeders now where you live with your Mum ?

Poppy and Gladis do not like rain they go for hours when it is raining with there "legs crossed"

before Glasis was spayed we talked it over with the vet and it was decided the right time was inbetween the first and second season right in the middle 12 weeks after the first day of her season. He said he would not spay any dog very early it can cause water leakage in later life. It is normal in the UK to spay later I agree with your quote
