Guest Anonymous
http://www.hoflin.com/Online/Field%20Spaniel%20Museum/Squier%27s%20Clara%20Barton Here is a picture of a Field Spaniel. The first Field Spaniel Champion Registered with the AKC was in 1894 a liver by the name of Coleshill Rufus. This breed had a hard battle to say the least.. A prominent kennel was destroy in 1909 by a fire which lead to a decrease in Field Spaniels being registered. In fact the next Ch. would not be recorded for over 50 more yrs. The average weight is 40-55 lbs. They are prone to Hip dysplasia and thyroid problems. Great with kids. Tend to carry things in their mouth(due to the retriever) and have webbed feet.

GSDmom
I really love the action shots! That's a good pic. Anyone out there own a feild spaniel so we can have owner observations on the breed?
Shannon_C
To all the ones named here, the best thing is to totally ignore this guest and just answer any questions or give advice to those who need it, certain people who have attitudes on this forum shouldnt be allowed here! It would be great to hear about a different breed each week, perhaps in alphabetical order :) so we dont miss a breed out.
