Amaya was like that. She was the bitiest thing I've ever seen. I basically did what you did except for a couple weeks. I redirected her to toys as well. She doesn't bite at all now. Just on her toys and my cats :o Broke her of that until we got the kittens. New toys she thinks..

Your sure going through a lot :( I'm sorry about your kitty - you shoulda took the other kitty home. ;) The poor thing. She could have taken it so a shelter. Irresponsible owner! :evil: I don't know what I'd do if I seen someone do that to a pet :-?

I always used the No bite command and ignored Amaya.. Luckily my Amaya is over this :D She was a bad hand chewer. She once got so hyper she darted at me (mouth open) right on my nose! Her canines were to small for my nose at the time so it didn't work to well :lol:

Ok, Japanese Spitz and American Eskimos are so much alike. They are naturally engergetic dogs. They need to have a LONG walk daily and plenty of chew toys and playtime. Im having problems with Amaya - she loves pencils(and PENS!), kitty-litter 'snacks', and any type of paper. She also has a high barking problem which I have NO idea how to cure. She loves water, and if you tell her NO the more she barks, and if you say nothing she'll just keep barking. All the Eskies I've met are very hyper(or engergetic) and barky - it might be a special trait lol. Anyway, just keep in mind they are highly active dogs and should NEVER be left home alone. You'll lose school papers and your favorite pen... Including chunks of carpet. I know the cold isn't going to want you to talk her, but they LOVE snow. Go play with the snow or have kids play with the snow with the doggie. You could get another dog and keep her company ;)

I'm so sorry about everything your doing through DAL! I have a cyst on my wrist but its tiny and the doctor almost couldnt find it, lol. He couldn't figure out how I knew it was there. It causes discomfort and it could as well be that. My grandmas dog also had this baseball sized tumor on his shoulder - not cancerous. There really isn't much you should get worked up over. Both issues we thought it was cancer - and we're fine! I'm sure Zoey will be fine. Just keep praying and hope for the best. If worse comes, know that she's going to be happy in the end.

I LOVE pugs, and LOVE shar-peis, and I HATE the OriPei. That is completely horrible :evil:

My grandma got this little stool for her Pom to get up and down on the bed. Kind of like a bed step-lader for a dog.

Yah my grandma is the same way with things. My sister always told her to NEVER give her dog chocolate, and when she wasn't looking, what does she do??? Give the dog chocolate. I was a big snitch in that area :lol: We all know how toxic chocolate is :-? AND After my Thunder-cat lost is leg, I specifically told her to NEVER let him outside again. AND what does she do?? She let him outside while I was sleeping. And then he gets stuck on the roof and needs help down. And who has to fetch him? ME. He only comes to me - and I'm afraid of heights. I lost that battle, btw. and NOW My sister made sure her kitty was specifcally INDOORS. And once she moved out, what does grandma do? Let the housecat that lived indoors for years outside. I lived with my grandparents btw.

I'm a christian, and I still hate christmas. It's all about 'family' - or supposingly. Then you have to go buy your 30+ family things with WHAT money in this day and age? You never know what to buy anyone, and then you have to pretend to like all the presents you recieve. I HATE recieving presents, and I hate giving them.

She's so pretty! First, are you going to make it Color or black & white? If black & white, then the nose thing will be a good idea. Also ask about the collar color. Also ask if the nails has been trimmed. And make something up, like if she has a bald spot somehwere.. or if shes blind. Just throw something out. Be wary, someone can call twice and take the correct info and throw it at you.

That is awesome! I have to keep my door locked because it doesn't 'shut'.. Maybe you should to. Animals are really sneaky!

Can anyone tell me everything to watch out for in dog food? Like I know all corn and by-products is bad.. That's about all i know.! Is Beef (not Beef Meal) or Liver ok? Is Soybean and stuff ok? What about Salt? Can someone please answer this for me.
