Ok, why is your dog getting taken away? It normally has to be pretty serious for a cop to step in. Think it over about getting another dog. It needs food & fresh water EVERY day. Dogs should never be kept outside 24/7. They need : Groomed. Walked daily. Obedience training. Shots, Rabies, + blood tests. Spayed/Neutered. Toys + Socialization. And more. Are you really dedicated to make sure your new dog will be happy and healthy? If you want a dog. Go to the Humane Society. They normally have wonderful dogs. Or go to a breed rescue of the breed of your choice. Humane Societies and Rescues normally have their shots and stuff done before adoption, and spayed/neutered which actually saves you money and saves a life.

I won in the agrument of Amayas health :evilbat: He agreed to take her to the vet, but god. He made sure I knew he wasn't happy about it. They had to muzzle Amaya because she growled(she didn't like them at all.).. Everything seemed fine, and then they left. And she had another episode. WTF is with that?? They said it might be kennal cough and gave us some cough medicine. I just gave her some. Fiance still not happy. I paid for it..But now he has to pay for my kittens shots! HA HA!! :evilbat: That will cost even MORE!

Amaya was laying in her crate and she started panting and making a really weird sound, like something was caught in her throat! So fiance 'made' me call the vet ER even though i KNEW they'd tell us to come in. Hello?? What else are they supposed to say. After that, HE doesn't want to take her to the damned vet because she seems fine now. She was acting weird an hour ago to. She could be having sezuires or something and he doesn't care! Doesn't help that I've been mad at him today either. :krach:

It's actually really bad to let a dog wander around like that. Even if it is in the country. I grew up in the country and lost many animals to cars, doesnt matter where you live. A fence is a good investment and will save you from pain of losing your loved pet.

Poor guy.. There is a special place in Heaven for him. And he'll be waiting for his dog at the bridge! Wonder whats going to happen to the dog...? :-?

The general public MUST educate themselves either way. Why? They need to know that they DONT know anything about our dog to assume anything.

does anyone know where I can find a food dish where 4 kittens can eat at the same time? Our itty-dish that we have for them is one inch off the ground and they can eat out of it just fine, but only one at a time, and their hogs!

I say do whatever your vet says.. He isn't going to try and lead you astray.. He'll tell you the chances of her getting better, but you can tell by his expression what he thinks you should do. Don't be afraid to ask. You and Becky are in my thoughts

Has she been tested for any type of disease? Her acting like that isn't normal for any dog. Especially out of no where.
