Unfrickingbelievable! Just when I think I've heard the worst about DAK we find out there's more! Maybe Justin will tire of her and return her to where he found her.
well with aspen i just stick the cup up to his weeter when he goes but he is taller than a jack. they had this cup holder fashioned from a wire coat hanger. you put in a plastic cup and when he goes you stick the cup under to catch it. i think they still had some trouble cause he is so low to the ground nahahaha!
That's basically how they get urine ssamples from horses too. It's a cup on the end of a long pole. As soon as the horse starts to pee they stick the cup underneath to catch it. At horse shows they have random drug testing, and I've been lucky(?) enough have my horses be selected for testing on several occasions. One of my horses would stop peeing as soon as she heard the pee hit the cup. LOL

I'm really not good at guessing breeds (all I've ever had are Golden Retrievers and Yellow Labs and crosses of the two), but he sure is adorable! He looks very happy and healthy and looks like he has a good buddy too! Did you go back to the shelter you got him from and ask for the correct medical records? It sounds like maybe they were a little discombobulated in their records department. Good luck with your cute boy!

I think that the Golden Retriever/poodle mutt (I WON'T use the "doodle" term for it) is cute, and would adopt one from a shelter if I was in the position to adopt again, but I would NEVER EVER EVER buy one!

Yay for Kes! But what an asshole that guy was! Hey Kat, have you been having any problems with your walks? I hope you don't have any seizures while you're walking! That would be scary! Give Kessie a hug from me!

I'm going to have to turn my truck and horse trailer around and unhook it tomorrow since the truck is the official dog vehicle. My trailer is still completely full of branches that I cleared out last weekend. Yesterday I found out that all the tree depository locations are now closed! GRRR! So now I have to figure out where to dump it! Anywho, I might leave two dogs in the truck at the clinic while I bring one in at a time. They would be fine in the truck because it's DEFINITELY not hot out. Or maybe I'll just go ahead and bring 'em all in at once. I just don't want Pooh Bear and Maya in the room with Jackie when she's screaming bloody murder while she gets her toenails clipped.
-
Jaci's tag line will have to be changed to "Bam's Tattooed Jugs."
-
Maya and Pooh Bear are due for shots, and all three need to get their toenails clipped, so I'm taking all three to the vet tomorrow. If I take all three at the same time it saves on office calls. This will be the first time I've taken all three at the same time, so it should be interesting. Jackie acts like her toenails are being pulled out when she gets them trimmed, so I'll probably want to take the other two out of the room when she gets that done or they'll think she's getting killed. Wish me luck! LOL

AJ is absolutely adorable! Sorry he got a booboo though!

When I was a teen, my dog was a Golden Retriever/Lab mix, so I called him my Golden Retrievador!

You promised pictures of Baxter on Monday. Well, it's Monday and we need to see Baxter pics! We'll have to start whining if you don't show us new pics of your new baby!

English Bulldog in California desparately needs home!

Here is Barkley's Petfinder.com page http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=5142367 -
I'm cross-posting this from one of my horse forums: ***************** I work for the Police Department as an Animal Control officer. I impounded a male English Bulldog mix almost a month ago. He is adorable and his days at our shelter are now numbered. I am trying to keep him as long as I can but space issues are now a huge problem with kennel construction starting in about a week. If anyone knows anybody who would love to adopt my sweet little Barkley please have them contact me asap. More photos of Barkley are listed on Petfinder under Delano Animal Control zip code 93215 located in California.....Barkley was a very thin stray that I have put much needed pounds on and he looks great. He is 60 pounds of pure love and sooo much character. He is not a barker but is a talker....he does this little squeal sound to get my attention and then will leap and bound for joy.....Barkley has very good manners. I let him run down the isle way when I am cleaning and he will follow me around and keep an eye on me. He will make an excellent companion. He also loves other dogs as well. I have two litters of puppies at the shelter and Barkely was giving them kisses through the gate. He is extremely affectionate. If I didn't already have my dog limit at home I would take him in a heartbeat. Meanwhile I am going to try to locate some breed rescues to see if they can save him.....This breaks my heart Jennifer

Is their last name Browlow or Brownlow?
I defended her so many times; more times that I can count. I recall I also got into disagreements with a couple of members here regarding her broken marriage. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt...over and over again. I can't believe how bloody foolish I was. I just want to say that I apologize to anyone I 'stepped on' while trying to defend Naomi.
She suckered me in too, and I defended her and stepped on some toes here. I apologized earlier in this thread for that, but I'll do it again too. I was an idiot for believing her, and I'm sorry for pissing anyone off in here because of it.

RIP Willow. Run free at the Bridge. I know what it's like to have a fence jumper. Thank Dog the cable and harness work great on Maya and she doesn't mind it.
One other thing... am I the only one that thinks J looks kind of like Uncle Fester? I don't mean that in a demeaning "he's ugly" sense, but... well, just look. Is it just me?
That's nicer than what we said about him in Iowa.
and now we have a new member: AussiesR4me.....am I getting paranoid thinking maybe it's DAK?......
I was thinking the same thing. I hope whoever AussiesR4me introduces her/himself so we can know.

Those are so frickin cute! Great job!

Because of the other people who have posted who know DAK personally, I definitely believe there is a Justin. But who knows: maybe he's as sick as she is?

Here are some pictures of DAK and Justin from the "Pics of Us" thread:

You know what we should do from now on? If we find that someone on here is up to something fishy, we should say so from the get go and not try to stifle our feelings because s/he is our friend. It could save us a lot of heartache.
Don't we already do this? We are known as mean prison bitches, you know.
True  . But what I meant was that some of us felt something fishy about DAK since the very beginning but didn't say anything because everyone else really liked her. Then we began to like her ourselves until she lied to us..Not blaming our actions, tough! :)
Okay, so we were gullible prison bitches!
Red would be a Border Spaniel, or a Brittany Collie, I guess. And while I'd love to have a million like her, I'd hate to have a million like her, if you catch my meaning :)
I know exactly what you mean. Whatever mix Jackie is, it's the absolutely PERFECT mix, but I certainly wouldn't try to recreate it!

Do your dogs react to sounds on t.v.?
JackieMaya replied to JackieMaya's topic in Everything about dogs
Mine all know the "turning-off-the-computer" sound too. LOL Another thing my dogs react to is when I put out my cigarette, especially Jackie. I always go outside and have a smoke with them when I get home from work. Jackie knows that as soon as I put out the butt I'm going to get up and go inside and get their dinner ready.
