1. Izzy, great job on getting Michele her Marshall badge! LOL And Michele, thanks again for everything that you're doing! You da bomb!
 2. What an idiot! Like you said, if she wanted to let her dog off leash, why couldn't she either come early or wait until after your group training session? I would have been mad too.
 3. Okay, so when I come home from work, our routine (Jackie started it) is that we all go downstairs to the family room first before we go back upstairs to go outside. Jackie was on the futon, and then she jumped over on the sofa and Pooh Bear took her spot on the futon. Then I said "let's go outside," and Pooh Bear leapt off the futon right into the big water bowl (which was full) and dumped the whole thing. There was probably close to a gallon of water in there. I had to grab towels to sop up the water before it flowed downstairs. Well, the floor looks a lot cleaner now than it did! What a bunch of knuckleheads!
 4. Cynthia, you're certainly not the only one who was buffaloed by DAK.
 5.
(i've seen this movie about forty times)... "BABY FISHMOUTH! BABY FISHMOUTH!"
"Oh yeah, Baby Fishmouth is really sweeping the nation." LOL "You made a woman meow?"
 6. LOL - I found a cute picture that pertained to this debate, but it didn't show up. Then I tried to delete my post since there wasn't anything there, and I couldn't do that either. Oh well...

 8. The thing I really like about the rescue I got my three kids from (and that this cutiepie is from) is that the dogs will stay in their foster homes forever if they can't find a home. They'll NEVER be in a shelter, but will always be in a house with a loving family whether they get adopted or not.
 9. Baileysmom, it's nice to hear from you again! I feel badly for you and Alena, as you two knew DAK personally and got totally smurfed by her. I'm also glad that you have Stryker. At least we know that HE'LL have a forever home!
 10. Pooh Bear pees like a mare. He doesn't lift a leg like a male dog and doesn't squat like a female dog. He stretches out and pees like a female horse! LOL
 11. It won't happen again because you're getting her fixed, right?
 12. This little guy is at the shelter I adopted my three from.
If ever a dog needed a special home, this one certainly does. Chico is a 5 yr old Chihuahua that only weighs 3#. A year or so ago he was attacked by a large dog and his back was broken in the scuffle, resulting in permanent paralysis in the back half of his body. He was evaluated at the University Vet hospital, but the spine is severed, and there was nothing they could do. Mobility isn't a big issue for him. He has developed a lot of strength in his front legs, and can scoot across the floor, dragging his back legs behind him. But every morning you'll need to wrap those hind legs in gauze, so that his skin doesn't get raw and sores don't develop from the friction against the floor and carpeting. He has a little wheelchair you can use to take him on short walks, but he can't be in the wheelchair in the house because it gets hung up on the furniture, and he can't back his wheelchair out to free himself. ... 13. My little Pooh Bear was in about 6 homes in his 14 months of life when I adopted him. Yes, he's chewed up a few things, but I just adore him and he'll be my boy forever. I just can't even fathom how someone can get a dog and then just get rid of it like an old pair of shoes. It just makes me sick.
 14.
This just accured to me but didn't she post in the msn contact list thread?
Good call!
hmm i dont use it much, i use Yahoo 24/7 but my msn is [email protected]
15. Well, our vet day went just great! It was in the high 40s (comfy for my dogs and me-LOL), so I just took one dog in at a time and the other two stayed in the truck. And all three dogs have lost weight (which is a good thing). They're all at great weights now. Pooh Bear is 46 pounds (he was about 51 pounds when I got him), Maya is 72 pounds (she was up to 90 pounds) and Jackie is 75 pounds (she was up to 95 pounds)! Jackie and Maya both got a little too plump last winter, and I've been really working on getting them to a good weight. Pooh Bear and Maya got their shots and their toenails clipped. Jackie wasn't due for shots so she got her toenails clipped (she was much better than last time) and got her anal glands expressed. Afterwards, I took all three to Petsmart and got them some treats. One person who works there said I looked like a professional dog walker-LOL. Once I get them out of the truck and they get over their excitement, they're very well-behaved.
 16.

Sorry hun. This shiny has to be hard for you since you thought she was a friend and a good person at one time. Hugs..
I was just going to post that. I'm really sorry for all that DAK put you through, Alena. And saying all that shit about you behind your back.
