1. Happy Second Birthday, Cinco! Go have fun at the Petco and have your mom buy you a bunch of yummy treats!
2.
  i'm intrested to see how he thinking about your pants and shoes they can be very hot somtimes  :drinking:
Well, he's already turned several shoes into sandals and gave me crotchless panties!
3. All rightie! Give Sassy a hug for me for being such a good girl!
4. Pooh Bear was nice enough to aerate my cowboy hat for me yesterday. Don't you think he did a nice job? It'll keep my head much cooler now. Those felt hats can get kind of hot. He's such a considerate little boy! 5. I like being blonde; people don't expect much from you that way. :silly:
6. The big day for fireworks in the U.S. is July 4th (Independence Day). Kat, I guess you'll have to start a new tradition when you move to Texas!
7. D'OH! I didn't pay any attention to the San Clemente in her name. My blonde roots are showing.
8.
Welcome to Dogo, from another Californian (I am assuming?) Kudos to you for taking in Libby and giving her the wonderful life she deserves.
How did you figure out she's a California? Do you have ESP? :hmmmm:
9. Halloween fireworks? Can't say I've ever seen those around here. Have fun!
10.
On that topic, my Mum wants to get Kes a wax barbour jacket and I'm trying to tell her that shes a working dog and in Texas she wont be nearly as cold as she would be here! :o
I have a waxed Barbour jacket! I bought it at a horse show after I had been showing in the pouring rain. I went back to the hotel room, changed into dry show clothes, and went right back to the mobile tack store at the showgrounds and bought a Barbour jacket (and showed in it later that day).
11. I've always had hairy dogs, so I've never had to worry about buying them clothes. There are tons of REAL cute doggie clothes that I've seen. I'm sure that she'll be fine with her winter jammies!
12. First of all, a big welcome to Dogo! And second of all, thank you for taking Libby into your life! She sounds like a wonderful girl, and you are an angel. Now how about some pictures of your girl?
13. Yikes! I'm glad you got Wooly back home and that you were able to get your asthma under control. If Maya gets out the back door without being attached to her harness, she immediately bolts to the back of the yard and jumps the fence. So I know what that's like. Wooly sure is a cutie pie! I hope he figures out that he has it pretty good right where he is!
14. Congratulations and hurry up on the pics! What was the costume?
15. Awww, Wooly is SOOO cute! Just look at that friendly goofy face! Thanks for taking care of him until he finds a forever home.
16. How about: You don't buy any new furniture, because then what would your dog have to chew on?
17. OMD! King is so adorable! I don't know if this would help her situation any or not, but the rescue shelter I adopted my three from (in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area) definitely takes in special needs dogs (see my post on the Chihuahua on the EAD board). The dogs are all housed in foster homes until they're adopted. They've had several hard-to-adopt dogs who have been on their site for quite a while, and they will be in the foster homes forever if they're not adopted. This is their website: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/MN09.html
18. Good advice, Pyr and R2! When I adopted Maya, they said that she was food aggressive. So right from the start (she was 1-1/2), I fed Maya and Jackie at opposite ends of the room, with me in the middle. It didn't take long at all before Maya respected Jackie's area. Now that I have 3 dogs, Maya's and Jackie's bowls are each at separate ends of the kitchen and Pooh Bear eats at the front door. Jackie eats slowest, so when Pooh Bear and Maya are done, they come over to me and sit down, waiting for Jackie to finish. There are never any fights or incidences over food because they've learned the proper behavior. Good luck with your puppy!
19. That was beautiful, Kat! What a privilege to have had a wonderful friend like Meg in your life for all those years.
20. It all sounds perfectly normal to me!
21. How cool! I think it would be a blast to go to a doggie Halloween party.
22. When I'm hanging out watching t.v. downstairs, I always have my favorite blankie over me. Pooh Bear always cuddles up with me and my blankie when we're watching t.v. on the sofa or the futon. Anyway, when I got home from work last night, Pooh Bear had dragged my blankie all the way upstairs, and it was on the sofa. Jackie and Maya used to carry my shoes around, but since Pooh Bear is a shoe-eater, I can't leave shoes out any more. I just thought that was so cute that my little Pooh Bear wanted my blankie up there with him. :iloveyou:
23. I ran out of the bitter apple spray. It looks like I better stock up on it!
24. It must be recliner-chewing season here because Pooh Bear chewed on another one this morning while I was trying to decide if I wanted to wake up or not (I guess I should have).
