1. A JACK ASS   An ass.....
2. I'll add my 2 cents...... I think if you explain to your friends that the dog is lovable and sweet, and A PART OF YOUR FAMILY, they should acceptyou for your word and come and see you. If they can't accept that, maybe you need new friends :x
3. Two meals a day. I have made an appointment with a homeopathic vet for $180.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o I take her Tuesday evening. But, she will get a full check up and she will go over all her medical records. Her fees sound more like an attorney!! Will bill for phone consultations, faxes, case analysis (above the 180..... I haven't told hubby yet :x ) Anybody hear of her in my neck of the woods? Her name is Dr. Epstein and she is in Wilmington.
4. Pitmomma, YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!!! I'm sure he will be very happy with all your care and love :buzi:
5. Well, she only made it two nights in a row. Back to cleaning up in the middle of the night for hubby. Sigh.....
6. I knew who she meant. But, it wasn't posted as far as I know.
7.
I'd like to hear your comments on this
From Who?
8. I just looked up halti on the net and it looks very similar to the GL. (I was wondering too :-? )
9. I think with a smaller dog, a plastic crate would be fine. I myself have a metal one for Chelsea, only because it was available and I was told she was mixed with Lab, and would get big and CHEW!
10. I think I WILL stick with what I am doing!! Not only is it good for her, but she really loves it too :eating: You can tell she still isn't right, but getting there :B-fly:
11. Guess what everybody?? Daisy didn't poop in the house last night (first time since getting out of the hospital) :laola: I think she is on her way to recovery!!!!!!!!!! Thanks everybody for all your help, especially alicat and roo!!
12. I think a lot of shelters are run that way. They don't ask many questions, only that if you own/lease, are allowed pets if you lease, have a yard, promise to fix, and stuff like that. Then, of course you make a donation. But, they have so many animals that need adoption, they can't be as picky as a rescue.
13. No problem!! Happy to help. I haven't looked again. Daisy has been sick, so I have been focusing all my attention on her. Good luck with the rescue!!
14. Yeah, I guess I gave everybody a good laugh :-? Glad to be of service
15. Hmmm....... interesting.
16. Well, the PayPal is working, just bought some. If I win, please keep the prize and put it in your shelter. Come on, anybody else??????
17. Good for you!! Way to go!! :B-fly: :beerchug: :laola:  :banan:
18. I just call it the "come" command. I guess I'm not up on all the "lingo" :fadein:
19. Give him some rice mixed in with his food. That should help firm it up.
20. No, I really don't know
21. The holistic vet actually recommended Dr Pitcairn's book. She seems to be getting better. Still pooping in the house, but again, I think it is getting firmer. (Hubby "saved" it for me, so I could look at it! - Wasn't that nice of him  ) I think I will keep her on this diet for a while and see how she does. I feed her a mix/alternate of rice, yams, natural yogurt and some EN with a sprinkle of slippery elm at every meal. Seems good so far. Anything else I can add excpet for the beef? Edit:
I am sure you could get info through the net free
I looked, but really didn't find much. I have to look again. Thanks
22. Well, the holistic vet called me today at work and suggested that I look into a homeopathic treatment for her. Any ideas anybody? She did give me the name of a vet, but said she would charge me for the phone consultation, ugh! I can't even tell her what's wrong without her charging me???
23. Awl.... we love ya and will never call you names!! :calus:
