I found this great dog park and just came back from there!! I have never seen so many breeds all together!! It was great fun, and thought about most of you guys!!! K - there were two bull dogs there (and they were not together) Shannon - Two bull mastives a male and female, and soooo sweet but HUGE!! A yellow lab, A beautiful American Eskimo, Two blue tick hound dogs, an old english sheep dog, a beautiful German Shepard, Nancy, a beautiful Doberman, a couple of corgies um... I think I got them all?? They have also installed a doggie water fountain! I was so excited. We are going again tomorrow if it doesn't rain!! They have a club you can join, and here is the link and information about it: http://www.harfordparkdogclub.org/Index.html Tomorrw, I'll bring my camera

Well, I was feeding Daisy this morning, giving her her usual raw chicken, when I spotted somthing looking back up at me. I had to look twice but, there was no mistaking that a chicken head was in my back of necks :o I was soooooooooooo grossed out!!! I didn't remove it. I just let her eat it :o It made me feel sick to my stomach. Can you imagine having your dogs' food looking up at you :eviltongue:

They were cute and some very familiar, but only got through about half.... too long for me.

HELP! Friend wants to sell her two puppies!
Daisysmom replied to Rowie-the-Pooh's topic in Everything about dogs
Well, if they're not being properly cared for, I would let her sell them. Just help her with some good questions to ask potential buyers. Help her to be certain they are going to good homes. -
Poor baby!! You are wonderful for adopting him!!!! Just be patient, he will come around, especially after he is feeling better!!

I agree too, half-way. Maybe you can talk to your neighbor about the "dog's protection" first. If this doesn't work, then I would turn her in. But, I would also look into turning in the other owner too.
What is in a RAW diet? What do you feed them?
Raw meaty bones like chicken backs and necks, raw eggs, yogurt, veggies (pulped), etc. I feed mine a raw diet too and it is very good for them.

Wow!!!! That is a great link!!! Any one interested should check it out. Found a few in my neck of the woods! Thanks Nancy!
Yeah, I loved it too. Think Nancy will really like it
Thought so  Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

Looks good to me. My Lab loves to sit out front and watch the people go by, so I put her on a similar set up from time to time. Truthfully, we have something that we put together ourselves on a swivel with a plastic coated cable from the Home Depot. It works fine for us, but our dog doesn't try to pull it out. I guess it would be a great product for those dogs who try to "escape". By the way, I have an idea I have been kicking around for a few months now and have contacted a patent attorney, but it is so expensive. Did you do the search yourself, or did you hire someone to do a patent search and application?

Poor Dottie  She has a slipped disc and has to get BEEPed because her owners are too stupid to have her fixed!!!!
-
Oh, at least it is something that is easy to treat. Good luck with it.
-
Sorry to hear you lost the pups, but I agree, there are a lot of wonderful dogs still out there. Good luck!!! It is a great feeling to rescue a dog

Awww... poor baby :( Sounds painful. Hope everything works at well!! Hugs and kisses from Daisy, Chelsea and Jake!! (Especially Daisy, she has been through the same thing and gives an extra big hug) :P

Thanks, I looked, but only found one even near me. I have to keep looking.
wow, you all just give your dog the whole egg and they just eat it??
Yes, I crack it first and them crunch up the shell and they eat it. Usually you should dry the shell out and add it as an additive, but I am too lazy to do that!! Did it once, and that was enough

Does anybody belong to a dog club? How do you join? I'm looking to get the dogs, especially Chelsea involved in agility training and have searched the web, but only found a limited amout of info. If anybody has info on agility in the east coast area ... PA, DE, NJ please let me know. Thanks You can see I'm "digging" for information

Great job!!! Jake is learning quickly too. I think it helps if you have other dogs at home to learn from. He sits and gives me his paw already, and I really haven't been working with him on it yet. I have to get the other two out of the way and really start with him. They think they are getting a treat everytime I ask for their paw  How often do you work with her?
