1. poor puppy  that is the same thing that happened to my girl Keesha and her litter mates!! except the person who found them took them to a vet clinic that I was working at. Congrats on your new pup :D ;)
2. :o First, you shouldn't breed a dog at 1 1/2 yrs. You should wait til at least 2 years old so all the health tests can be done. Do you compete with your dog? is she proven in anything? Like conformation, agility, weight pull etc. Have you had her eyes, hips, patellas, heart, etc. tested to make sure she carries no genetic defects?? Also, you need to make sure the male has also been through all of this. And do you have a waiting list of buyers of at least 10 people? Do you have spay/neuter contracts? Do you have a contract that states that the puppies are to come back to you if for some reason the new owner can no longer care for the puppy?? and do you plan on checking out every single home that the pups go to and keeping track of the pups until they die? If not, then you are just adding to the ever thousands of back yard bred dogs in this world
3. are your 2 current dogs kept outside all day?? or just for potty and playing?? :-? if they are kept outside all day, don't be surprised if they turn you down.

5. All I can say is do LOTS, LOTS, LOTS, LOTS, LOTS more research!! before you decided to stud him out. The basic questions you asked are questions anyone should know before breeding. :) Do more searching on the interent, there is lots of information on the internet about breeding. Also there are books about breeding. If you got your dog from a reputable breeder, then he/she should be more than happy to help you decide on breeding him and what bitch to breed him with, and what to look for, and everything else. good luck. :D
6. I didnt read the replys so sorry if this has already been said..but..
A lot of the dogs in rescue have bad habits. Not that they're not amazing dogs, but some are chewers, some have SA, some have dog or cat aggression, some have nervous tendencies, some are fear biters, and some are just generally difficult dogs.
Yea a lot of rescues do have those problems, but so do a lot of dogs that come from reputable breeders. I know alot of people who have bought from reputable breeders and their dogs still have Seperation Anxiety, or not good with cats, etc. Just cause the puppy comes from good breeding doesn't mean it is going to be completely problem free. These are ALL things that can be either be controlled or completely gotten rid of. PEOPLE just don't want to spend the time to train their dogs and THAT is why millions of dogs and cats are in shelters. Find me one dog that is in a shelter becuase of the DOGS fault and i'll shut up. But thats not gonna happen, cause dogs are in shelters and rescues because of no fault of their own. the reasons for gettinf rid of a pet.. "i didnt know he'd get so big" "his fur doesn't match our new carpet/furniture" "he sheds, there is hair everywhere" "he pees on the floor when I scream at him or hit him" "my children don't want to play with him anymore" "he peed/pooped in the house!" "he chewed on my brand new shoes that I left laying on the floor" "he barks too much" "he digs in the yard" "she clawed my furniture" "she peed out of the litter box" etc. etc. the list goes on.
7. Eli finally did it...he killed one of my cats :( I was at school, but my mom and brother were here. She brought Eli in cause he was barking at the garbage man, and then after my mom made her breakfast and sat down to eat it, Eli attacked Boo, we have no idea why, he just did. She tried everything but could not get him to release Boo. Now Boo is dead. I understand that Eli is a dog and being a pit he has a pretty high pray drive, so I don't "blame" him nor hate him. I miss boo, he was the sweetest cat anyone could ever ask for. He loved cuddling and he was just the best cat ever. I took him off the street and had him for almost 2 years..at least he had a good 2 years and knew he was loved... We should have done this before, but I guess sometiems you just have to learn the had way, we are making one of the rooms into a cat room, the cats will stay in there when Eli is inside. R.I.P Boo
8. Ever tried just putting a muzzle on him? That way he can't harm anyone.
9. Cruiser is gorgeous!! you are right, that great dane is not very stunning at all. cruiser definately should have beat that dane!! i love danes, but my god that dog is not a very good example of the breed. ok enough rambling lol
10. It's a cruel cruel world, and ya just have to do what you can to help the ones who need it. It may seem that whatever you do, like make a small donation, or foster a couple dogs, or anything of the sort, doesn't count much. But every single donation, no matter how big or small makes a difference in the life of a shelter or rescue dog, and foster homes make a huge difference in the amount of dogs a rescue or shelter take in. we can't save all of the homeless dogs and we can't make the world "perfect" but we can do our best to make a difference. Hope that makes sense
11. It should hurt to be ignorant and stupid
12. I am currently feed my APBT, and my other adults dogs, Diamond dog food. I am hopefully going to get a job though and switch them to Chicken Soup For the dog lover's soul.
13. I do not own an aussie, but I sure do love the breed!! I found an aussie outside my fence a few months ago. he sure was a sweet thing!!! had him for about 2 months I do believe, and never found his owners. We would have loved to keep him, but 2 of my dogs didn't like him :( He went to an aussie rescue and has been adopted!! he sure was FAT, lol. He has been put on a diet at the rescue and now at his new home he was the sweetest dog!! I named him Frankie he was neutered, so I am surprised his owners weren't looking for him... he definately needed grooming!! the rescue did groom him and bathe him and what not, he looked gorgeous after his grooming :D
14. i'm too lazy to read all of the replys  , so here is what I think and sorry if somebody has already said it. RESPONSIBLE breeders are NOT the problem. Responsible breeders only have like one litter a year, sometiems two, but most only have ONE litter EVERY TWO years. and NONE of their pups end up in a shelter or rescue. There are only a handful of truley responsible breeders out there, too :( Not all people are cut out for rescue animals either, sounds stupid, but it's true. Not all people can deal with the problems you sometimes have with rescue dogs. When(though it will never happen  ) the world gets rid of all of the BYB's and PUPPYMILLS, then and only then, will the overpopulation start to decrease and maybe, just maybe go away forever! but like I said, it's just not going to happen
15. we are all fine. yes I washed my scratches very well, and over again and over and over, lol. I then put neosporin on them. Rome came out of hiding and she is fine. I listened to her breathing and it sounded find, I felt her neck and everything and everything felt fine. but I will keep an eye on her. She is locked in my moms room for now, with food, water and a litter box of course.
16. Eli just attacked my cat Rome. Rome was on the counter eating pizza(bad cat) and I saw her and told her to get down and then Eli came after her. He got a hold of by the throat and my brother and I had to beat the crap out of him to get him to let go. We looked all over the house but can't find her, but I know she is in here she is just hiding very well. I see no blood trails or anything so I am hoping she is ok She scratched up my hands quite badly and got my brother pretty bad too. i put the picture down there ..... cause I know some people get sick and such when they see blood.......so don't scroll down if the site of blood makes you sick
17. Friends don’t let pets get drunk Just like with caffeine, most people don’t actually give their pets alcohol. However, if they discover that Fifi likes to lick the beer cans, they may find this amusing and give Fifi a can of her own. Big mistake. Dogs and cats obviously have much less body weight than humans and become intoxicated very quickly. Some people may think it is funny when the dog starts staggering around the house, but they will stop laughing when the dog begins to urinate uncontrollably on the rug. As many people know, alcohol is a diuretic. Once a pet is drunk, it will have lost its inhibitions, so all that house training goes right out the window. There are worse consequences. Ingestion of larger amounts of alcohol causes behavioral depression, depressed respiration, cardiac arrest, and death. Next time you have a party, lock your pet in a room where it can stay safe and alcohol-free. If your pet should imbibe, call your veterinarian immediately. This way, laughing at your drunken pet is expensive but not fatal.
18. there was a fox hound named Dexter that always boarded at the vet I use to work at. That dog was sooo cute and friendly! I wanted to take him home!!

22. pit bulls were actually originaly bred to fight bulls and then they were actually used as herding dogs. and lastly they were used for dog fighting.
23. he looks exactly like a pit bull/GSD mix owned by a member in a different group. same color and ears and everything.
