  1. Unfreaking believable. These are the guys that are supposedly going to protect us from the "bad" guys and they are that afraid of a couple of dogs that aren't even threatening them or free?! Ughhhh, makes me sick. I too, would be calling the media - what crap. I am soooo glad to hear he is doing okay though! Seeing blood is always scary when it comes to our babies (at any age!!)
  2. I am so sorry Mouse  RIP Gladis.
  3. Good luck at the vets, I hope everything is okay!!
  4. Have a great trip  Sometimes its good to take a break from the computer for a few days, we will miss ya!
  5. I echo everyone else! I don't think you are a bad dog Mom, infact I think what you did was very kind - now he has his kids and I am sure the kids are full of happiness  And who better to go with then your best friend!
  6. I couldn't have said it better myself K. This is a major pet peeve of mine. I have 3 kids 13, 11 and 4 and they do not act like that while out or otherwise. My sister is known for this, she lets her kids do whatever they want and it drives me batty.. its freaking rude. I have this look that I just shoot my kids if necessary as reminder and it stops them in their tracks. It wasn't easy getting them like this, as said above it takes training. Thats the problem, too many parents just don't want to be bothered. Case in point: I was at my cousins house and another cousin was there with her kids. The one kid was climbing on the kitchen counter and my Aunt told him to get down. His Mom just sat on her @ss. When we left my kids were in shock and couldn't believe they were even climbing on the counter... pretty bad when other kids are even :o Now I won't lie, my 13 year old can be a smart @44 pain in the butt but he won't do it when we are out. I am always complimented on well behaved and helpful they are.
  7. Thank Dog you got him back! I hope he gets back to himself very soon!! I am so relieved for you
  8. Congrats! I can't wait to see Tina and thank goodness for you and your wife!!!
  9. The world is crazy sometimes, it really scary. Most people suck and the stuff they get away with amazes me... Hope everything turns out okay in court, you shouldnt even have to go since he was the jack@$$.
  10. RIP Cleo :( Sorry for your loss.
  11. I won't bother posting to this thread because its utter CRAP... But DL, I have never seen that before and it cracked me up. OMD, thats funny. Thanks for the laugh, I sooooooooooooo needed one tonight!
  12. What is wrong with the world? That just pisses me off to no end. Where are the parents? I don't let my kids out of my sight! Definitely call the cops!! Big hugs, sorry you even had to see that. And that is a look at some of our future serial killers... scary.
  13. Definitely Japanese, that looks just like her. Dang its been a Lonnnnng day!
  14. My parents have a mutt named Elmo that is part lab/greyhound that they got from the Humane Society. He is a GREAT dog, very well behaved and just all around good. [My Dad is Dr. DoLittle, he used to bring home new dogs from the dog pound every month when I was growing up, I love that about him]. Anyway - My sister tells my parents that her friends Dad is dying of cancer and he has a Chinese Chin [I do believe thats the breed] that he wants to place in a good home. My parents weren't sure they wanted another dog right now [my parents are still young but having some health issues, my Dad had to retire early so they just weren't sure] So I go over to meet her today, she is soooo cute, she was on my lap shaking like a leaf. Very nervous in the new environmnent and such. Elmo has been great, he's already kissing her... Long story short my parents have had her all but one day and they already have an appointment to get her spayed [AWESOME] BUT come to find out, she is only a year old and she has already had a litter :x I was sad to hear that, some people... but the happy ending is that she won't be having anymore, my parents love her and they are going to get her spayed ASAP. Oh and her name is Soto [my Dad has 2 old DeSotos that he treasures so thats where the name came from]. Thanks for listening, just wanted to share ;) I need to get some pictures, she really is so cute, I wanted her for myself!!
