I just put Honey and Licky on Wellness Fish and Sweet Potato (nasty smelling stuff! :x ). They aren't very keen on it yet, but they're working on it. Anywho.......I saw on t.v. (or read somewhere....can't remember) that 1 tsp of Kelp would help a dog who is over weight. I'm trying to get Honey's weight down and keep it down (which is going good so far) but was wondering if anyone has heard of giving their dog Kelp? I also heard that apple cider vinegar was good, but I want to check here first before I try ANYTHING!! Thanks! :D

Honey got her name because she looked like a "Honey"....just something about her eyes. Licorice (or Licky) got her name from a co-worker I knew.....I showed her the pic of Licky and she said..."awww, look at that little piece of Licorice!" So it kind of stuck! :lol: Our cat was named Mee Mee when we got her from the SPCA and we loved the name. Honey's nicknames are: princess buttercup peanut head, peanut head, mommie's lil' piglet. Licky's nicknames are: booger-butt, licky dog, stinky butt..... Mee Mee's nicknames are: crack kitty, "don't claw me!", crazy kitty....

Excellent letter, Carol.....I too always carry extra bags with me. I would love to see that person step in a fresh pile......maybe they would think twice about leaving their bags "in the car". :roll:

Licky is tennis ball obsessed!!! She will walk around the house with it in her mouth looking pitiful until you play with her. She also loves playing with squeeky toys.....she will grab one in her mouth and shake her head really hard to throw it. Honey is into the squeeky toys more then anything.......if we sit on the floor to play with her, she will shove the toy in your face to make sure you get ahold of it...... :roll:

They were SO cute!!! I wish Honey and Licky liked to be dressed up......
