serendipity Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 I just recently saved a puppy from a local shelter. She is so adorable, but I have no clue if she is what they say she is. She looks like a queensland pup but lacks the correct coloring. She is almost solid white with a little black around her eyes, and brown on her ears. She is 2 months old. Will she change color? Can queenslands be white? Just curious about it. Well any ideas would be appreciated. Thanx! Quote
pyrless Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Hi and welcome! From what I know, yes, their markings darken as they get older. Pics please? :D Quote
Lucky Chaos Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Aren't they born all white from their dalmatian ancestry? (Do I even have the right breed?) She could darken, but then again she could be mixed with something if she was a shelter pup too. Quote
__crazy_canine__ Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Yeah, LC is right... theyre born white and darken with age. She'll most likely turn out all heeler when shes full-grown. Quote
