Guest Anonymous
The puppies that my Lab just had, died. Everyone of them. I just got back from school. Found them all dead in the yard. WHAT HAPPENED?? Can anyone please give me some explanation? Why would 10 puppies all die at the same time in such a short amount of time? I was gone from 6 - 12 They were 3 days old. They were in the sunlight. It's mid day. But I've never heard of the Sun killing puppies THAT FAST... please help, please.... What could have happened? And what should I do about the Mother? DogPaddle
Puppies are very fragile. Wild dog puppies are often in a dry, not to hot, not to cold den for several weeks after they're born. Breeding dogs and rearing pups is not a simple matter and should involve a great deal of research, planning and the observation and assistance with more than one breeding with a reputable breeder - there is a sticky somewhere on these forums on what makes a breeder reputable check that out. Spay your dog.
mouseatthebusstop
I am sorry you lost the pups- they should not have been left outside it would be best to get the mum spayed.
AllAmericanPUP
they probably died of heat stroke. outside, especially in the sun, is no place for a dog, let alone puppies. please spay your dog
