Playfighting?

Ok, for the past few days, everytime i take Clea to the park in our comopound, the neighbour's KIDS are there, with there 4 month old, terrier/poodle mix, Cookie. Now the kids range from 4-7 years old, and in total they are usually 6 kids, just like today.
Anyways, since the first time Clea met Cookie, they immediatly start to playfight, but i always found it odd that that was the FIRST thing that they did, i mean sure, a little sniffing at first but then they both plunge headfirst into fighting... But i told myselft, they're both puppies, and are just playing, mostly 'cause Cookie's the first puppy Clea met after quarantine and i really want her to meet as many dogs as possible. Today the same thing happened, cookie came into the park and POUNCED on Clea, and they just carried on like that for a good 15 minutes, i was watching them the whole time except at the end, the 5 year old kid got stung by a bee, so i was trying to calm her and her sisters, meanwhile my back was turned, when i glanced over my shoulder, Cookie growled at clea for some reason and then it got ruff, they started biting, i mean seriously biting, so i tried to break them apart and Clea bit me on the thumb accidentally..
My question is, will this make Clea agressive towards any future dogs she meets? I'm really worried, and upset at myself, but i had no control over the situation, i guess i should have broken them up earlier but... :-?

You would be better to just allow Clea to have gradual exposure to other dogs on lead at all times. Shes still very young and an upset now could lead to problems in later life. The most critical socialisation period is between 12-16 weeks of age when it has been proven that a puppy learns the most and retains this information throughout their life. If when she is older, she dives straight in to play fight another dog she may find herself in trouble and get bitten if the other dog isn't as friendly.

Keep her on lead and let her sniff around the other puppy first so that she learns the correct etiquette and behaviour to display around another dog. Also use this time to build up the bond between you and her by doing puppy obedience with her just one on one, so that you are the most interesting thing to her for now and for when she is an adult dog.

also, you may have run into the unfortunate situation where both dogs consider themselves equal, and they are trying to work out the pecking order, not uncommon in puppies. in fact necessary. however, since Clea was in quarantine and not around other animals, she may be trying really hard to not surrender to any other dog. this needs to be watched, like Kat said, and Clea should be introduced slowly to other dogs. her socialization period with animals may be a little skewed at this point, or she may just be a naturally dominant dog who came up against another one. You just need to watch her and make the determination.

One other thing...was the other dog a female as well? (I'massuming because of the name that Clea isa female, correct me if I'm wrong)
they are really kinda young for "bitch wars", but it could still be happening
